After a frustrating morning, Taylor finally found her car in the wedding parking lot and drove straight to her architecture office. Her friends and coworkers, Abigail and Lucas, greeted her as she stormed into the office, still visibly upset and flustered.
"Hey, Taylor, are you okay?" Abigail asked with concern, noticing Taylor's disheveled appearance and tense demeanor.
"Yeah, you look like you've been through a lot," Lucas added, eyebrows raised in curiosity.
Taylor scoffed bitterly, tossing her bag onto her desk. "Oh, just peachy. You won't believe what happened this morning."
Abigail exchanged a glance with Lucas before leaning closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "What's going on? Did you and joe get back together?"
Taylor rolled her eyes. "oh i wish ," she muttered sarcastically. "No, it's something way more complicated."
Lucas frowned, puzzled. "Then who... did you get back together with someone else?"
Taylor sighed heavily, deciding to lay it all out. "No, it's not that simple. I... I got married this morning."
Abigail and Lucas stared at her, mouths agape in shock. "Married?!" they exclaimed in unison, disbelief evident on their faces.
Taylor nodded, her expression a mixture of frustration and resignation. "Yeah. To Travis."
Abigail blinked rapidly, trying to process the information. "who's Travis ?"
"Travis. Remember the guy I met at the wedding?"Taylor hesitated for a moment, trying to find the right words.
Abigail's eyes widened in surprise. "Travis? The guy from the wedding? Wait, I thought you barely knew him."
Taylor nodded, feeling the weight of the morning's events pressing down on her. "Exactly. It's all a mess. I woke up this morning and found him in my bed. Next thing I know, my dad and brother show up, and now I'm married."
Lucas frowned, trying to make sense of it all. "But how did this happen? Did you... want to marry him?"
Taylor shook her head vehemently. "No way. It was all a blur. I can barely remember what happened last night."
Abigail leaned closer, concern etched on her face. "Taylor, are you okay? This sounds really complicated."
Taylor shrugged helplessly. "I don't even know where to start. I don't even know this man. And now we're married."
Lucas rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Well, can't you get a divorce or something?"
Taylor sighed, feeling overwhelmed by the situation. "I don't know. We're working on it.It all happened so fast. And my dad... he's really traditional. He thinks this marriage is a matter of family honor or something."
Abigail nodded sympathetically. "That sounds tough, Taylor. But maybe there's a way to sort this out legally."
Lucas chimed in, trying to be optimistic. "Yeah, there's always a way. Maybe you should talk to a lawyer."
Taylor nodded slowly,. "Yeah, maybe you're right. I need to figure out what my options are , and besides travis is also a lawyer so i hope we can fix it asap."
Abigail placed a reassuring hand on Taylor's shoulder. "We're here for you, Taylor. Whatever you decide to do, we've got your back."
Lucas nodded in agreement. "Absolutely. Just take it one step at a time. You'll figure this out."
Taylor managed a small smile, grateful for her friends' support. "Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it. I just... I need to gather my thoughts and figure out how to handle this."
