Travis paced nervously in his living room, his hands shaking slightly as he dialed Kayla's number. After a few rings, she picked up.

"Travis, hey! What's up?" Kayla's voice was warm and cheerful, unaware of the bombshell awaiting her.

"Hey Kayla, can you come over to my place? There's something important I need to talk to you about," Travis said, trying to keep his voice steady despite his nerves.

"Sure, babe. I'll be right over," Kayla replied, curiosity piqued by Travis's serious tone.

Fifteen minutes later, Kayla arrived at Travis's apartment. She knocked on the door, and Travis opened it with a tense smile, gesturing for her to come inside.

"Thanks for coming," Travis said, leading her to the living room where they both sat down.

Kayla looked at him expectantly. "So, what's going on? You're acting all serious."

Travis took a deep breath, steeling himself for her reaction. "Kayla , first i want to apologize about our argument on the phone yesterday i didn't mean to be rude, seconde i need you to promise me that you'll try to stay calm and not freak out, okay?"

Kayla furrowed her brows, concern flickering in her eyes. "Okay, Travis. What's going on? You're scaring me."

Travis hesitated for a moment before blurting out, "I got married."

Kayla's eyes widened in shock. "You got WHAT?"

Travis repeated himself, his voice quieter this time. "I got married. Yesterday."

Kayla stared at him, speechless for a moment. "YOU GOT MARRIED?"

Travis sighed heavily. "I met her at the wedding, but trust me i don't even know her."

Kayla's shock turned into disbelief. "You got married to a girl you barely know? Travis, what were you thinking?"

Travis ran a hand through his hair, feeling the weight of his mistake. "I know, I know. It was a mistake. I woke up at her place this morning, and everything just spiraled from there."

Kayla tried to process the information, her mind racing. "So, let me get this straight. You woke up in her bed this morning... with her?"

Travis nodded, his guilt and regret evident on his face. "Yeah. I don't even know how it happened. It's a mess, Kayla."

Kayla's disbelief quickly turned to anger. "A MESS? TRAVIS, this is more than just a MESS! You got MARRIED to someone else! How could you do this to ME?"

She stood up abruptly, pacing the room as anger bubbled up inside her. "I can't believe you would do something like this!"

Travis stood up too, trying to calm her down. "Kayla, please. I never meant for this to happen. It was a mistake. I love you."

Kayla turned to him, tears of anger and hurt in her eyes. "Love me? If you loved me, you wouldn't have gotten married to someone else!"

She grabbed a nearby vase and threw it against the wall, the sound of breaking glass echoing in the room. "This is insane! I can't believe you!"

Travis winced at the noise, feeling the weight of Kayla's words and actions crashing down on him. He watched helplessly as she stormed towards the door.

Then she slammed the door behind her, leaving Travis standing alone in his living room, surrounded by the shattered remnants of their relationship.

He sank onto the couch, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "Well, she definitely acted reasonable," he muttered to himself bitterly, the sarcasm not lost on him.
