Xuan Ji grinned, looking up at the shocked group In front of her. Xie Lian quickly jumped infront of you.

"Please, haven't you sinned enough?" He asked. "Is he so afraid to come see me?" She asked with a shaky voice. "You were the hero of your nation, remember?" He remembered and you nodded to back him up.

"Stop hurting yourself and others!" You nodded more aggressively, Xie Lian was making a very good point.

"I tried to hurt him. I burned all of his temples! And his followers were reduced to nothing and still he refused to come and stop me!" She grinned as she pointed at the temple.

'I hate Pei Ming.' Said Xu Mao suddenly and you almost snorted, although composing yourself as this was a serious moment.

"I've been waiting for years! Are you too ashamed to see me?" She asked angrily at the sky, lowering her head. She growled and yelled, "Curse you!"

She then turned into mist and flew to the statue, starting to destroy it while blabbering something you didn't pay attention to.

Xie Lian walked forward and you furrowed your brows quickly hurrying after him. 'Where even is Nan Feng?' you asked yourself.

"Watch out sir!" Miss Ying warned in concern.

Before she could grab Xie Lian you gently pushed him aside, taking his place as she pushed you against the ground, hand on your throat.

You furrowed your brows as she started to try choking you, glaring at her.

Xie Lian gasped and quickly ran forward, you looked at him and shook your head with a serious expression. He stopped and glared at Xuan Ji.

He hated seeing you in this situation, but getting rid of her will have to wait. He has to trust you on this, otherwise he won't have your trust, and you were skilled anyways.

Xuan Ji grabbed your chin and turned you to face her. "Why are you looking away? Watch me, look at me!" She yelled in your face with a nasty glare.

"Let go!" A voice suddenly yelled, you gasped and glanced up in shock. Miss Ying was running at Xuan Ji with a brick. "NO- MISS YING STAY THERE!" You yelled and Xuan Ji grinned, turning into dust to fly to her.

Miss Ying was hit and rolled over the hard concrete. Xuan Ji grinned, "You don't deserve him."

The bandaged boy quickly hurried over to Miss Ying and you quickly scurried to your feet as Xie Lian bound her with Rouye to free you, also running to Miss Ying.

You gasped as you saw blood coming from her head and gritted your teeth.

You both crouched down infront of Miss Ying. "Sirs. I tried my best but I got in your way." She spoke in a weak voice and the boy was whimpering at her side.

"No, because of your distracting we captured her, thank yoi." Xie Lian thanked and you lowered your eyes. "Miss Ying. Do you want to continue living?" You asked and she gently shook your head making your eyes widen in shock.

"But- why?" You asked. She smiled gently. "My time is over. Please take care of him." She glanced at the bandaged boy. "I have lived a good life. The last thing before dying I wanted to do was always to do a good deed. So let me die this way."
