Classes had been cancelled, so Laura and Carmilla were more than happy to take advantage of this responsibility-free day. Carmilla, being a book worm and a philosophy major, decided to catch up on her books. Laura was binge re-watching Doctor Who. They both seemed content for a couple hours, until Laura found her attention wandering from the TARDIS and decided to turn off Netflix. Sighing, she glanced at her broody vampiric girlfriend, who was still engrossed in her philosophy books, and wasn't paying a lick of attention to her.

She decided to change that. "Hi, Carm! What are you reading?" the smaller girl inquired. Carmilla held up the book so she could read the cover. It said something about "the affairs of the heart". Laura groaned, then moved over to Carmilla's bed. "Is it good?" Carmilla nodded, not looking up. Scooting closer, Laura placed her head on her vampire's shoulder, reading the words on the page. Carmilla smirked at her attempts to get her attention, but never looked up. Laura grumbled under breath, then laid her head on Carmilla's lap, staring at her with huge puppy eyes. "Caaaarm!" she whined. Carmilla simply turned the page, ignoring the whining girl.

Laura moved to the other side of Carmilla, and started to play with her hair. Suddenly, Carmilla grabbed the front of Laura's shirt, pulled her in, and kissed her, smack on the lips. Then, as quickly as the kiss started, it ended, and Carmilla resumed reading, as though nothing happened. Laura looked at her in shock. "You are unbelievable,"

"Which is why you love me, cupcake," Carmilla smirked.
