"Ready, cutie? I've got the champagne," Carmilla called to Laura, who was fixing herself in the bathroom. "Ready, Carm!" She twirled out of the bathroom in a little blue dress with leggings. She was almost...glowing. Radiant. "You look beautiful, creampuff." Carmilla said, trying to take her all in. Laura blushed. "You look...wow." Carmilla was wearing her leather pants and a dark purple top with her leather jacket. Her midnight hair was swept to one side. She looked ethereal. "Let's go before the mad scientist or Big Red interrupt us." Carmilla said, half joking. Laura grabbed her hand.

"And that's Orion's Belt. Oh, there is Canis Major and Canis Minor, the big and little hunting dogs." The vampire listed, pointing at various constellations. They were at their favorite spot, a little park just off campus. It was a clear night, so they could see so many stars. Laura put her head on Carmilla's shoulder, pulling her fingers through her ebony hair. Just then, a shooting star streaked through the navy blue sky. "Make a wish, Carm." The smaller girl whispered. Carmilla turned to her. "You are my wish, Laura."
