Old injuries and dried blood. Otherwise not bad. Sorry about not publishing lately I'm just procrastinating.

Kirishima sat up and whined at the pain of the raised lets along his back and arms. He had been lying in dried blood and it had crusted along his stomach and legs.
Sure, it was bad, but he had had (yes that grammatically correct) worse before. Hey, maybe he'd die from blood loss before nightfall, so he didn't have to submit to the torture.
It was sad, really, that these were the hopeful thoughts he had. Such desperate times.
Suzuki noticed when he sat up, but paused before moving in to drag the poor man back to his cell. Five more minutes of sun couldn't hurt the boy, right?
This would turn out to be the gravest mistake of Suzuki's life, on his end, at least. Kirishima gained just a tad from it.
Poor Suzuki, he's a good supporting character. Don't worry, he'll be back eventually.
A loud thunk coming from the poor guard's direction caused Kirishima to whip his head around towards the noise, and stand shakily towards the noise, shaking some blood out of his greasy red hair as he did so.
The intruders were two over-embellished humans, seeming to be around his age. A man and a woman. Both far too attractive than should be necessary.
His brain was woozy from blood loss and the figures were becoming blurry.
The man was a scary looking person with bright, bead-adorned, spiky blond hair, a loose-fitting white shirt, and brown pants tucked into equally dark boots.
He wore a fierce scowl on his face and was terrifying, to say the least.
The woman seemed even more intimidating, if possible. She wore a banana-yellow bandanna, fastened tightly around her head to tame a head of unruly pink curls.
Her white shirt flowed over a maroon corset and black pants, accentuating her beautiful figure. Not that Kirishima noticed. He was way out of it anyway.
The man took a step forward and held out a hand to Kirishima's shaky one while the pink woman stood back and crossed her arms.
"We're getting you outta here, come on. I'm Captain Katsuki Bakugo, by the way. Kirishima shook his head at the hand extended towards him and Katsuki raised an eyebrow.
"No? Really? Why not? Don't you wanna get out of this goddamned prison? We could be saving your life!"
The woman turned to Katsuki, graceful pink limbs swinging around as she turned to face him. "I told you so, Katsuki." She did, however, step back when the captain glared at her.
"I-I don't know you." Kirishima butted in timidly. "Maybe you'll hurt me too." He whimpered out.
"Oh, hunny, we won't hurt you!" Her tone instantly turned from sarcastic to empathetic as she spoke to Kirishima.
"I know the king has broken your trust, and I get it. It takes a lot to trust anybody after something like that has happened. I've been there, I promise. But you can trust the captain and me, I promise."
Kirishima looked a bit less hesitant now. Reluctantly, he looked at her and nodded quietly
She took his hand, steadying him as they followed Katsuki over Suzuki's unconcious form and into the dungeons.
The trio would've climbed the wall to get out, but the dungeons would prove to be the only exit in Kirishima's frail state, as he obviously could barely walk, much less scale a wall.
"What's your name, good sir?" The bubbly pirate skipped beside Kirishima now. "Eijiro Ki-Kirishima." They stumbled out into an alley and Mina nodded approvingly. "Cool name."
"Thanks." That was the first time Kirishima had ever really been proud of his name.
"I'm Mina Ashido! I'm glad Katsuki convinced me to come, I'm really starting to like you!" She giggled and Kirishima let out a halfhearted chuckle.
"Ashido-" "Mina. Call me Mina. Mr. Tightass over here likes to be feferred to as CaPtAiN bAkUgO, but I call him Katsuki just to piss him off. It's quite funny sometimes, actually."
She continued to pull Kirishima through alleyways and back streets, her grip on his hand never loosening as they tailed behind the Captain.
Katsuki heard their easy banter and felt a strange pang in his chest. Why did Ashido get all the new boy's attention? He wasn't jealous. No, Captain Katsuki never got jealous, especially not of something like this.
He wasn't jealous of his first mate helping a scrappy, bloody, malnourished prisoner. But life's full of surprises, isn't it?

We're going to ignore the fact that I disappeared again after I got back from my trip. Nop, that didn't happen. I also just went on a camping trip soooo.
Thank you to the people who have stuck with me, I've noticed each of my chapters have had decreasingly fewer reads, though that's to be expected. It's a slow start and people don't have attention spans.
I promise you that some shit goes down for sure in the chapter after next, so keep looking out for updates! Thanks for hanging with me! Jacob~
