It's a generally cool day in May. I have my favorite music playing, with the sun shining through the curtain in my dorm room. What a perfect day.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Now who could that be?

"Hello." I said greeting the tall thin man standing at my door

"Is this Audrielle's dorm room?" He asked nervously.

"Uh, yeah. This is she." I said glancing at him suspiciously.

"I um... I accidentally ran over your bike."

"You what? Your gonna pay for that! Do you know how expensive that bike was?" Argh!
"You idiot! How could you do that?" I exclaimed. "Uh! I can feel a headache coming on." rubbing my temples I continued, "So how did this happen?"

"Well, I was looking to find my friends address then...BOOM! So I got out and found a bike under my hover car. I knew it was yours because you had a sticker I.D. on it with your name and dorm number so, I got here." He then continued. "Oh and it looks like you must be my friend's roommate. Because this is her address." He trailed off.

Then as if on cue. Two green eyes and a blonde bun pops around the corner.

"Hey Luke! Looks like you've met my roommate, Audrielle." She said happily, turning to me. "And looks like you've met my boyfriend Luke."

"Yeah, I've sure met Luke alright." I said with my teeth clenched together.

"What's wrong Auds?" She said worried putting her bag of groceries on my desk and setting her hand on my arm.

"Your boyfriend ran over my bike!"

"Oh! That's horrible!" She sighed looking over at Luke then back to me. "Well how about we settle this with some of my famous microwaved french toast and ice cream!" She exclaimed.

"You know Lilly," I started, "You can't fix everything with french toast and ice cream... but I am hungry so I suppose we could talk about my bike later. This is the last time Lilly, you know."

As I devoured the french toast and ice cream I forgot, only for a few seconds, about the FPG virus and about how the government forced me to move to Boston, separated from my family at only the young age of thirteen. Then, I opened my eyes and realized where I was again and a wave a sadness washed over me. I feel like the whole worlds future is resting on my shoulders because the government actually believes that I could make a difference.

"Um... Can we go look at my bike now?" I mumbled as I threw my paper plate away.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go." Lilly said.

When we exited the dorm building I was preparing myself for the worst. But, when i looked the only thing wrong with it was that the back wheel was all bent up and the paint was a little scratched.

"I think it could be fixed in a day or two. Until then, I guess I will walk to my classes, but your gonna pay for the repairs Luke." I said smirking at Luke.

"Yeah, I know." Luke said, sighing.

"Well, see you again after it's fixed, for your payment." While waving to Luke.
