When I walked into my dorm I was trying to be quite so Lilly wouldn't ask questions. I slowly turned the key in the lock, then the door swung open. Lilly appeared with here hair back into a nice blonde bun but a serious look on her face. "Where in the world have you been? I thought you'd be back around 9:00!"

"I'm only a hour late. I finally had a really good time in a long time. I feel better than ever." I could feel my cheeks blushing. I was obviously love struck. I'll have to tell Lilly sometime about max and I, but I don't plan on telling her anything until we would be an official couple, as in boyfriend and girlfriend.

I then remembered that I promised Max that I would research the virus so we could find out some more information. So I told Lilly, "I just remembered that I promised Max that I would research a little bit so we will now a more about it. So, go ahead to go to bed, don't worry about me. I know how important your sleep is. If you need me or anything I'll be at my desk."

As soon as she got herself settled in I grabbed my visibook and notes, and started searching for information.

The second I put in the search words "cane looking virus" the same virus popped up.  The Marburg virus.  The virus that killed thousands of people in the nineteen-hundreds.  But he virus that I found seemed to be mutated, missing part of the longer tail of the strand.  In the articles that I read it said that only about 23% of the infected died, but this new strand has a 100% mortality rate.  I can't wait until morning to tell Max about this, so quickly grabbed out my phone and typed in his number.  It took a few rings for him to answer.  I was worried he had gone to sleep already or his phone was on silent.

Then he picked up.  "Hello? Audrielle? Is that you? What is it?"  I could tell in his voice that he is half asleep.

"You know the virus we were looking at earlier?" I asked him with urgency in my voice. "Well, it turns out to be a mutated version of the Marburg virus."

"What's that?"

"It causes most of the symptoms seen in the victims that were found recently.  It killed thousands in the nineteen-hundreds.  And it's spread by bodily fluids, also it's related to the Ebola virus."

"Oh, that's not good.  Want to meet up with me at the science department lab and talk to the professor and see what we can do?"

"Sure.  For now I want to try to get some sleep." I said. "See you tomorrow."

"Bye."
