Shouto arrived home, only to be met with books laying on the garden. He immediately recognized that these were his science books, and as he was about to enter the house to demand an explanation, his father appeared on the balcony. He was carrying Shouto's gaming chair.

"What the fuck are you doing, father?!" Shouto yelled, and quickly got out of the way as he saw Enji was about to throw it.

"A little closer and I wouldn't have missed" Enji murmured, but Shouto could still hear it.

"What the fuck!" Shouto cursed. "Should I call the cops? Tell them my father got mental problems?" He threatened.

"You won't be calling no one, boy. You're eighteen. I have the right to get an unwanted person from my private property." Enji's fists on the balcony rails were white. "Gather your things and get out of my sight!"

"Well, I'm not a minor anymore and that's right, but what would the public say about this? They're going to eat you alive, Endeavor! It won't look good for the number two hero to be a deadbeat father and an homophobe as well! I got evidence."

"Are you threatening me?" Endeavor went down the stairs as he spoke, approaching Shouto.

"No, I'm simply stating facts. I will run to the press and tell them the truth. Everything. How you got mom to go crazy and the abuse. Even the illegal proposition you made for Izuku and me, and how you put him through hell. It will be over for you."

Endeavor raised a fist slowly, as Shouto quickly backed up.

"Now careful, dad. You got cameras on the garden. You wouldn't want to get that on camera."

Endeavor stomped his foot as he held his forehead.

"Just order your things. Don't you speak to me." He said, before he left in a hurried pace, clearly furious.

Shouto could breathe again.

"Jesus" he whispered, as he held a hand against his heart. It was beating so fast... if up against Endeavor wasn't scary no more, why were his fingers trembling?

Before he could dwell on it, the doorbell rang. Who could possibly bother me now?
Shouto thought to himself, as he opened the door.

"Sup bro" Dabi smirked. Shouto was about to scream, but his brother was faster. "Shut the fuck up. I got a gun. Look, I have a little present for you." Dabi unlocked his old and rusty phone, opening a video. "Recognize this?"

The video depicted a stranger with a hoodie and a mask on, holding a gun against a blonde girl. Shouto frowned.

"That isn't proof of anything." His voice sounded panicked to his own ears.

"That isn't the only thing." The next video showed Shouto getting rid of the mask and burning it in an alley. He was still with his hoodie on, but the blatant use of his quirk was enough of a proof. "Also got street footage that depicts you walking home, like shooting someone was just another friday night."

"What the fuck do you want?"

Katsuki had explained that he didn't really know any villains. He hadn't even met the League of Villains in person. Izuku thought it would be difficult to get any leverage from the blackmail.

"I know the first thing we should do is interrogate villains," Katsuki said thoughtfully. They were outside UA, sitting on a park bench. "It won't be easy, but we'll have to act as vigilantes and just hope to get lucky." There was a silence. "I really don't know what the hell you expected from me. My mentor hasn't asked for anything in return for the quirk."

"He's only done it to gain your trust," Izuku murmured disapprovingly.

"Look, I don't give a damn what you think about this. I'll help you find the killer, but we're not going to play nice during the process." Katsuki stood up, his serious face illuminated by the sunset. "We'll do it tonight. Find a mask and make sure your lunatic dad doesn't find out."
