I'm just now realizing that I never told you their heights.
Marsden is five foot ten and Stephanie is five foot seven.
Hope that this helps!
Also, surprise update if we hit three thousand today!!!!

Stephanie's POV
My leg frantically bounces up and down as I overthink every single scenario that could take place when Mr. and Mrs. Hartley find out that their daughter is intoxicated.
It was my job to look over her and I completely let her down. I was so selfish—I am so selfish. If I would have just fought harder for Marsden not to come with me then this would have never happened to her. If I would have just never come to the party in the first place then this never would have happened.
It is all my fault that Marsden is like this and I need to make sure that her parents know that I am the sole one to blame—even if this means that my parents will end up finding out.
Oddly, I am more worried about the Hartley's opinion of me compared to my own parents opinions of me—It's weird.
The door to the front of the cop car suddenly opens, the officer who caught us sneaking out slipping into the driver's seat. My body tenses at the sight of said cop.
"You girls want to tell me why you were at a party this late at night?" He quickly adds, "And why you consumed substances at said party."
Marsden continues to distractedly twirl a strand of my long black hair around her finger. Her eyes are trained on the side of my face as she leans her body weight against me. If we were not sitting down then I would probably collapse from the weight.
Seeing as the brunette is too far gone to even keep up a conversation, I am the one who responds to the police officer.
"It was my idea." I tell him. "I thought that it would be a fun way to catch up with friends."
He stares blankly at me through the rear view mirror, "There are more legal ways to catch up with friends." He repeats my words back to me mockingly.
"We're really sorry." I rush out.
He is silent for a few moments before sighing, "I'll let you girls off the hook, but I need to speak with your parents." He glances over to his computer. "Now, Stephanie, it says here that you currently reside in California—Is that correct?"
I nod my head, "Yes, it's true."
"What the hell are you doing halfway across the world?" He interrogates.
"My parents sent me here to live with some family friends." I briefly explain.
"I see," he hums. "I assume that you're staying with the young lady next to you?"
"Yes sir." I confirm.
He hums and types on his computer for a few moments. He does this until he suddenly puts the car in drive.
"Buckle up, I'm taking the two of you home." Is the last thing that he says before pulling away from the curb.
I rest my head back against the head rest and close my eyes. I can practically feel a headache coming on from how much overthinking I am doing.
"You're really pretty." Marsden's slurred words register in my ears.
I turn to face the brunette, her green eyes shifting from my hair to my face. A dazed smile makes its way onto her face as she stares into my eyes. While intoxicated Marsden is somewhat of a delight to be around, I can only imagine how pissed off sober Marsden is going to be with me when the drugs wear off.
