"So Zebei? How long have you been a protector for?"

"Uh.. About a decade or so.. It was tough, however, pushing through any hardship is the spirit of a warrior,"
Zebei choked up. He looked away to hide his sweat, there was a lot dripping around his body. He was giving Dhar a tour of the town but hanging around with him was very awkward to handle.
The fact that his comrade lost his memories once he reincarnated was something. Though hey! Look at him! His eyes were glimmering in need to hear more stories about the archer. Zebei held a fist close to his mouth, coughing a little,
"You wish to know more about me huh?"
Well getting his ego up should comfort him.

"I was from a nomadic tribe. We went through harsh plains in need to gather resources but also help many people as much as possible so anyone can survive for years until..."
He looked down, stopping his tracks. Dhar stared at him, no shift in expression.

"...Until a tyrant named Lord Ravannavar attacked us," Zebei's voice was low and quiet as if he didn't want anyone to hear the conversation.

"Ravannavan–... Ravanana–... Ravavanan–Huh?"

"Ravannar." He corrected, his voice now more quietly. Dhar's eyebrows furrowed, struggling to follow what he said. The archer sighed and grabbed his arm, dragging him quickly to the monastery.

Inside the monastery, monks greeted the men but mostly to Zebei once they walked inside. As for the silver-haired, he was fascinated with his surroundings. What he saw were gold Buddhist statues, blue pillars and mats laid out for the monks to do their practices. Soon he was taken to the balcony. He first saw an expanded view of a pink sea called "the Ocean of Milk" , not noticing a young girl with a large bird who was in awe– wait... the water is pink?!? Who cares though, he shouldn't be questioning this.

"Dhar? Is that you...?"
His head shifted to face the girl, seeing Kushi, "Eh? Do you also know me?" He asked.
Kushi looked at Zebei, questioning him of what happened. He motioned her to come close, so she walked up to him. The archer quietly explained about the price of Dhar's reincarnation. The young girl was left with a jaw drop until Altun closed it with his wing.

"... So what do we do?" Kushi asked as her arms crossed, "We can't have him do nothing all alone." A small sweat fell off of Zebei's face. He looked at her then at Dhar. The silver-haired watched the two with a blank face, slightly tilting his head.

Okay... What to do, Zebei? You have a young man that you despised for a few years but respected that he changed his sinful ways. However, that doesn't mean you forgive him. Dhar helped a tyrant terrorizing peaceful areas in Loka, even killing innocent people who didn't want to follow that guy. But he was a victim to Lord Ravannavar's schemes, right?
He looked up to him as a father figure, although he was manipulated to think that ever since he was a kid. It doesn't matter.. All it questions is how do we manage Dhar? Do I really want him to remember his horrific past? ... What if we just... don't tell him the truth about himself?

Zebei breathed slowly then exhaled, he said, "We don't tell him about who he was. Maybe... Make something up?"
Kushi flinched and her mouth was covered by both of her hands,
"A... Are you saying we're going to lie to him? That's dishonorable...! Even for a protector like you, Zebei."

"I know, I know," He sighed, holding the bridge of his pointy nose as continued with his words,

"...But he had a criminal history and we have to protect Dhar from not knowing about who he was. You don't know much about him–"

"But I do know that he used to serve in the Navar Army. He doesn't remember that now, but he will be a better person even though he will regain his memories. He'll learn to move on to live a better life."

"And if he remembers, what will he do nowadays?"

Kushi was left with an "um" as she tried to think, then looking back at Dhar. He was faced away to look at the Ocean of Milk, enjoying the gentle breeze, and smelling the purity in the water. It smelled either coconut-ty or flowery. Whatever it was, he felt at ease. Seeing him so peaceful gave Kushi a frown until she felt Zebei's hand on her shoulder. She looked at him, "Please. It's for the best. The best for him. And the best for us. And for the people who were victims to Lord Ravannavar," he begged with a stern look.

The young girl slowly nodded as both protectors went up to Dhar. Zebei called out his name. The other man turned with a hum.
"Sorry for making you wait but..."Zebei gulped and cleared his throat,
"... We wanted to tell you the truth of who you are and how you died."
