Chapter 11

(Lach's POV)

"Oh fuck" Lach looks at the spider. He could feel the heat of the spider against his face. "Far out you smell like shit" Lach wiped the sweat off his hands and onto his pants. The spider studied Lach carefully. Watching his every move.

"What are you looking at?" Lach looks at the spider. Over the slight hisses of the spider he could hear a high pitched voice yelling "HEY! WAIT!" Lach turns his head in the direction of the voice. A girl was running in his direction. She was clinging onto a small bag. Lach watches the girl.

"Can you not see the spider in front of me?" Lach snaps at the girl. "My name is Nat" The girl says in a very high pitched voice. "Your voice makes my ears bleed" Lach says with pure hatred against Nat. "You also smell like shit" He adds on. "Oh" Nat looks at Lach. Nat moves some leaves off the floor and sits down. She gently places her bag next to her. Lach then decides to take her bag and run off.

"HEY! WAIT!" Nat gets up and calls out to Lach. Lach completely forgot about the spider as he turns around he sees a tall elongated spider chasing him. He knows the spider will eventually catch him but Lach continues to run. Lach looks down at the ground and sees Nat's shadow "Stop following me" Lach says to Nat but there was no reply.

"Nat?" Lach stops and looks behind him. She wasn't there. There was just a rather short shadow of Nat. "What the fuck" Lach then looked right at the spider. It was coming fast. He then turns around and sprints jumping over logs. "Shit" Lach mutters while running. Lach's anxiety peaks through the roof as he looks around him hoping there are no other spiders. Lach forgot to jump and he trips over the log.

"Fuck" Lach rolls onto the floor. The spider catches up to him quickly or at least what he thought was the spider. "What the fuck. Where's the spider? Why is the shadow there but not... What?" Lach says confusion running in his mind.

"Hang on" Lach thinks then remembers the riddle. "I watch without eyes, I follow you round, In darkness, I'm stronger, without making a sound. I follow you around. In darkness. Im stronger" Lach presses himself against the log so the spider won't find him.

"A SHADOW!" Lach says full of excitement. "Thats it!" Lach gets up "A shadow!" Lach sighs with relief as a trap door appears in front of him. He pulls on the latch and it slowly creeks open. At the bottom he could see a dimly lit room. Lach quickly climbs through the trap door and finds Kimmy.

"Kimmy?" Kimmy turns her head to Lach. "Your alive!" Kimmy sighs with relief. "Thank goodness otherwise I would be alone" Lach ignores Kimmy and turns his attention to the timer on the wall. He turns around and finds everyone else's doors.

"Bella, KitKat and Anubis are dead?" Lach looks at the scratched doors. Kimmy sighs sorrowfully and nods "I'm afraid so" Lach nods slowly. "I guess we wait for Katana" Lach looks at Katana's door. Kimmy nods "I hope she's alright" Kimmy turns her attention to Katana's door as well.
