Jealousy Uncovered

Chapter 2

Levi's eyes narrowed at Niles's words, his face twisted in a scowl. For a moment, it seemed like he was going to lash out at Niles, but then his expression seemed to shift, and he took a step back.

"Fine," he spat out. "I'll leave you two alone."

Niles watched as Levi turned and walked away, his heart still racing from the confrontation. He turned to Juliet, who was looking at him with concern on her face.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

Niles nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for standing up for me."

Juliet smiled, her eyes shining with warmth. "Anytime," she said.

The two of them stood there for a moment, watching Levi disappear into the distance. Niles felt a sense of relief wash over him - he was glad that Levi had backed off.

But as they turned to walk away, Niles couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't the last he had seen of Levi. He knew that his former friend was still harboring feelings for Juliet, and he knew that he wouldn't give up easily.

As they walked off into the sunset, Niles turned to Juliet and smiled. "You know, I'm really glad u didn't end up with Levi," he said.

Juliet laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Yeah, me too," she said.

And Niles knew that everything was going to be okay. He had found someone who truly understood him, and he was grateful for it.

But little did he know, Levi was already planning his next move. He had been wronged once again by Niles, and he wasn't going to let it happen again.

As the days went by, Niles and Juliet's relationship continued to blossom. They went on long walks, had deep conversations, and explored the town together.

But Levi was watching them from the shadows, his eyes burning with a fierce jealousy. He knew that he had lost Juliet to Niles, but he refused to accept it.

And so, he began to plot his revenge...

As the days went by, Niles and Juliet's relationship continued to grow stronger. They started to spend more and more time together, exploring the town and getting to know each other better. Niles had never felt this way about anyone before, and he was grateful to have found someone like Juliet who truly understood him.

But Levi was still boiling with jealousy. He couldn't believe that Juliet had chosen Niles over him, and he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of resentment towards his former friend.

One day, while Niles and Juliet were out on a walk, Levi followed them from a distance. He watched as they laughed and joked together, and his anger grew with each passing moment.

As they approached the park, Levi decided to make his move. He slipped into the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

As Niles and Juliet walked past him, Levi stepped out of the darkness. "Hey, Niles," he said, his voice dripping with spite. "I've been thinking a lot about what you said the other day. About how you're glad you didn't end up with me."

Niles's eyes narrowed. "What's going on, Levi?"

Levi's smile grew wider. "I just wanted to remind you that you're not as special as you think you are. You're just a pawn in the game of life, and Juliet is just a prize to be won."

Juliet's eyes flashed with anger. "That's not fair, Levi," she said.

Levi shrugged. "It's just the truth. And if you want to keep her, you'd better be prepared to fight for her."

Niles's face darkened with anger. "I'm not going to let you bully us like this anymore," he said.

Levi sneered at him. "Oh, I'm not bullying you. I'm just telling it like it is. And if you can't handle the truth, then maybe you're not worthy of Juliet."

With that, Levi turned and walked away, leaving Niles and Juliet staring after him in shock.

"What did he mean?" Juliet asked, her voice trembling with fear.

Niles took her hand in his. "I don't know," he said. "But I'll figure it out. I won't let him hurt us again."

As they walked away from the park, Niles couldn't shake the feeling that Levi was just getting started. He knew that he had to be careful, because Levi was not going to give up easily.

And so, Niles made a vow to himself: he would do whatever it took to protect Juliet from Levi's rage. He would fight for her love and prove that he was worthy of her heart.

But little did he know, Levi had one more trick up his sleeve...
