So this is all HOTG/GOT characters, but the ones I'm using is from a generation that have never made an appearance. These characters exist but have no role to play and that's where I come in.

This is a prequel to an idea I had but in order for it to make sense, I'm writing this short story (no more than between 15-30 chapters if my estimation is correct and if I write a specific amount each time)

So this story will have the added existence of the mythical creature we call sirens. Although they will not be living under water, and it's only specific lines that possess siren attributes. The oc pairing will be a Targaryen and a my original characters, The Thalyssas.

Siren biology is weird and I'm gonna have my own fun creating this- for example, these siren families can be fully blood related but look nothing alike. This makes it harder to tell when there are bastards, not that it matters much because to the Thalyssas, any child gifted to them by the Sea Mother (their god so to speak) is a blessing. Siren lineages believe in survival of the fittest, which means it's common for bastards to try and overthrow their half siblings. Even full blooded siblings go for after one another from as young as 8 (as records show) it's as easy as breathing.

Some lineages even take to inbreeding, believing that it makes their kin stronger but there are very few records of full blooded sibling marriages. Distantly related and half siblings attempt to be with one another from time to time.

To know who is a 'siren' is to look for the sharper features, the pointed fangs meant to pierce the flesh of man. Eyes with pupils not quite circular, sharp and predatory. Ears that point and an aura that attracts. Natural allure and soothing voices.
