A lot can happen in the matter of minutes.
The adored, younger sister of the King and Queen, has fallen ill to causes unknown.
She remains that way for two years.
Avella had gone from slight aches and pains, to loud coughing fits to seizures. Then having to rest for days on end before being allowed to roam or care for her son. Currently, she was on bed rest more often then not, being unable to make it down the halls before collapsing in a heap of dead weight.
During that time, the children grow, Aerion the most of all.
He sticks to his mother's side like glue, aiding her in all ways he can for being only four. The young boy refuses any wet nurses that attempt to take him from her side and when he isn't with her, The King has taken it upon himself to watch over the toddler, going as far as to bring him along to important council meetings. Allowing him to sit on his knee with Baelon and Aemon on either side side, teaching the two oldest the ways of running the Kingdom as he expects one to be King and the other to be his Hand.
The future will always remain undecided.

Alysanne has taken to raising Daella and her youngest, Saera. The two growing into their personalities that appeared not quite right with the way Daella remained skittish and fearful of nearly everything while Saera seemed to be developing an almost malicious persona at only two. The Kingdom staff spoke among themselves, rumors of Queen Alysanne poisoning the minds of her children and soon the mind of the one she happens to be carrying. They speak of her age, the dangers of having any more, and they speak of how the rift that had grown between sisters wasn't as mended as one once thought. King Jaehaerys instructed his Hand to cease the rumors before they reached the minds of the common folk and the ones that said rumor originated from, were never heard of again.
