A raven is sent from Dragonstone days later with news of Alyssa and Baelon's second son, Daemon, and everyone rejoices upon hearing it.

No one is as ecstatic as Aerion though, who had already sent word that before he's set to begin his travels, he'd stop by once more to see his nephews face.

But just as the news went widespread, King Jaehaerys caught wind of something else.

His youngest son's night time activities.

Which brings us to now, where in Jaehaerys' is private study, he sits across from Aerion with a look of contemplation.

"Aerion," he starts almost scoldingly. "I'm going to ask you something and I want the truth."

There's no hesitation when Aerion agrees, "Of course father"

Jaehaerys lifts a figure from his mock city, twirling it in his hand before loosing his tense posture and staring at Aerion with an exhausted frown. "Do you fancy anyone?"

The question completely catches Aerion off guard and he furrows his brows, at a loss for words.

His father hums, "Alysanne and I have been arguing for many nights since you're return on what to do with you-"

"What to do with me." Aerion plainly repeats, cutting Jaeharys off immediately, "You mean to say how Alysanne wishes to get rid of me." His lips curl and the King is quick to raise a hand, silencing the boy.

Jaehaerys sighs once again, "Of course not." There's a softness to his voice as he goes on, "If anything, I was hoping to arrange a marriage between yourself and one of your younger sisters...perhaps both."

A startled laugh leaves Aerion's lush lips, eyes twinkling.

"What on earth brought that on?"

The softness turned slightly incredulous when Jaehaerys spoke his next words.

"It was an idea that was later on further discussed with the utmost importance when Aemon came to me speaking of how Lady Jocelyn saw Viserra rush off towards her chambers, half dressed, stumbling about like a halfwit."

Aerion remained unfazed, leaning back casually and feigning his shock.

"How peculiar."

His father remained steadfast, raising a single brow.

"I know not why you stare at me like so, father. I find it just as scandalous as you to know that Viserra was running amuck in such a state. What if some man had come along to whisk her away?"
