Bellowing in the darkness, she looked through that small crack in the door. Never in her 15 years did she think it would happen, to think everything was fine before, well even this is not sunshine and rainbows just an imagination, yup just an imagination.

Looking at her siblings, Archer was more determined to strive and live the life they deserve, "everyone will rue this day even you Wilbert Gheata, mark the date you'll rue today" she said.

Archer Gheata, born to business tycoons Wilbert and Alesha Gheata, was a child who had to fend for herself from young, she was always rejected and shone as a child for not being born a male.

Wilbert Gheata always hated Archer with a passion. He was a man who liked to spot and plan the downfall of his business cohorts from a mile away. Wilbert grew up with the pretense that a man should always lead, so when his wife gave birth to whom he expected to be his heir, to whom he will instill his traditions, to whom he will teach what he learned from his father and their forefathers, to whom he will mold into his desire and weapon to be just like him, all of that shattered just in the blink of an eye or well in the blink of birth.

To say he wasn't mad or disappointed was something no, he was enraged that a girl was his first born, his heir, his downfall. He had been boasting among his cohorts that he would obtain a son and only that, he has been rejoicing, showing off for the whole 9 months of Alesha's pregnancy trying to prove to his cohorts why he is better than them and why he will remain on top and with his heir arriving he would follow in the same footsteps and become unstoppable.

Wilbert is known to be an attention seeker while trying to prove that he is better than anyone and with the boasting he has been putting on, a slap in the face is all he needed to be humbled. Upon knowing the gender of the baby he felt being backhanded multiple times but he wasn't humbled, he was humiliated, angry, shamed. He was going to be a laughing stock now for having a girl as his first born, what will they say to him, how will he prove that he is on top. His heir wasn't what he had expected; weak, a burden, disappointment, flaw, a female and now his worst enemy.

In his mindset the enemy should never live but not only was he a traditional man but he had a belief of never eliminating a member of their family even if they are enemy because they are one blood and with that mindset Wilbert resorted to using her as an anger outlet.

Just like Wilbert, his cohorts are prideful, traditional and competitive. They compete for some of the most unnecessary reasons, one of which having a son as their first born and heir because not obtaining a son puts them at an all time lost and unable to compete against the others along with assuring that their name and bloodline will continue for many generations.

Not all dismiss and mistreat their daughters, not all only raise them to do one thing. What's that one thing?, just take a wild guess. If anything they treat their daughters equally as their sons even if they are the first born. They take pride in their daughters due to their intellect, quick thinking and decision making. Even with this accomplishment they do not dare share it with the other businessmen as it would pose a picture of weakness among everyone and will be a viable target for future references.

Some taught and trained their daughters on the ins and outs along with the good and bad sides of the business. They were even taught more than their own brothers who would automatically get the role of their father once he has decided to step down.

Wilbert is none of those though and he proves it by abusing his first born since she was a year old. Another reason for channeling his anger towards her is due to him giving her the name he had wanted for his firstborn son 'Archer' and that name serves a purpose and a reminder to him of what should have been a son was now a daughter.
