The Breaker stands at the entrance to the massive woods surrounding the valley where Carne Village rests. Its outer layer of trees exudes suspense and wonder.

He begins to make his way into the forest. Looking at his map, which he had attained from Carne Village, he notes how cutting through this forest would cut the travel time he would need to almost a day. Plus, given the fact that, as a vampire, he doesn't need sleep, he'll get there at the next dawn.

Stepping over the massive roots encompassing the forest bed, the Breaker marvels at the scale, which is much different from the forest he first arrived at.

Breaker(mental): "This is nice. It's crazy to think this is what the forest looked like in the past."

As he continued to stroll through the forest, admiring what nature once was, two figures moved through the branches of the massive trees, stalking above the Breaker. The two stalkers moved expertly through the trees, one taking the lead while the other had trouble keeping up.

Coming to a stop to let the slower ones catch up, two children with fair skin, blonde hair, pointed ears, and heterochromatic eyes stand confidently. The more masculine of the two is a Dark Elves, and the other manages to catch up as they hesitantly clutch a small wooden staff.

???: "Aura! Slow down! We can't go too far." Their voice was timid as they hesitantly held onto the side of the tree they stood on.

Aura: "Come on, Mare! Lord Momonga wants us to follow this guy. Also, look at this place! It's awesome! You can't disagree!" While they dressed and acted masculine, her voice was entirely that of a girl's.

Mare: "But we can't be seen. We have to be careful." She looks around hastily.

Breaker: "You know Mare here has a point." He says as he casually sits on a branch above the two.

In that instant, the two elves dart in opposite directions, putting themselves on seperate trees. Leaving the Vampire Lord to sit and watch the two move, annoyed that they could be so slow.

Breaker: "So it looks like whoever this Momonga guy is has sent two elves to stalk me? That's rather bold. The strange thing is, I've never heard of Momonga before. Care to educate me?" Putting his hand on the pommel of his longsword.

Aura: "Sorry! We can't talk to you! Bye! Come on, Mare!" Aura begins to hop from tree branch to tree branch, returning the way she came.

Mare tries to leap after his sister, but the Breaker appears beside the tiny elf with his leg outstretched. Mare falls to the ground, tripping over the vampire and off the tree branch. But stops as he feels a tug on his cloak. Looking up, he sees the Breaker looking down at him with a tight grip on Mare's cloak.

Breaker: "Well-made cloak. You're lucky I need you alive." He says coldly.

Mare doesn't say anything as he tries to cast a spell to try and free himself. The Breaker doesn't even hesitate as he lets go of the dark elf.

Once again, Mare falls toward the forest floor, never reaching the ground. However, yet again, his cloak is snatched up. Opening his eyes, expecting to see his sister Aura, he considers the unfeeling eyes of the Breaker looking at him. This time, the Breaker had caught Mare before the elf struck the ground.

Breaker: "No spells. Got it?" Mare timidly nods. The Breaker sighs slightly as he drops Mare to the ground.

Before he could speak, however, the Breaker turned around and flicked his hand forward. A blood current ran along his sleeve and flew out from his hand like a crimson spear, flying right into the head of a massive beast and piercing through it with expert precision and efficacy.

The beast crashes and slides through the earth and roots of the trees, stopping just short of the Vampire Lord. Calling the crimson spear back into the gem on his chest plate, his unappeased face looks to the top of the beast to see the other dark elf, Aura. She pokes her head out from atop the animal.

Aura: "Hey!! That was my friend!" She shoots up and hops down onto the ground. Rushing up to the Breaker with no fear. "You killed him!"

Breaker: "It isn't dead. I made sure the weapon only hit its brain stem. It's pretty much crippled. Now...about this Momonga."

Aura: "Why should we tell you anything? We don't know you." The Breaker merely stares down Aura as he rests his hand on the pommel of his sword.

Breaker: "I could kill your beast with a flick of my wrist and an ounce of blood. Determining what I could do with this doesn't take an overactive imagination."

Aura: "Yeesh. Fine. No need to get all murderous. Just don't go hurting Mare, okay?"

Breaker: "Very well. Now, why is this Momonga individual interested in me?"

Mare: "He wanted us to follow you. He wanted to see how you act."

Aura: "That's right. He's sizing you up. It's not like he needs to anyway. Lord Momonga could totally beat you silly without even trying!" the tomboy dark elf says childishly. The Breaker doesn't seem to care for her boast.

Breaker: "So you're both spies. What reason do I have to allow you both to live?"

Aura: "Hey! You said you weren't going to try anything!!"

Breaker: "And if I kill you first, why would I honor our deal?" Aura is taken aback by the absolute disregard for The Breaker's word.

Mare: "W-w-we..we won't follow you anymore. We'll leave. Just please don't hurt her. Please?"
The Breaker seems to slowly roll his eyes as he lifts his hand from his sword pommel and crosses his arms.

Breaker: "If I ever see you either of you ever again-"

Aura: "Yeah. Yeah. We get it. Come on, Mare." Aura grabs Mare by his arm and begins to drag her brother away.

The Breaker watches as the two elves disappear more profoundly into the forest, leaving him alone to bake his way through this new world and toward the city of E-Rantel.

Breaker: "Hmm....Why on Earth were they cross-dressing?"
