Chapter one

killua pov:
Everything feels like it's melting,the heat wave that's going on is driving me crazy. And anytime I try to go outside,I get sunburned! It sucks here. But I can't tell be that mad,at least I'm not in that awful house.right now I'm visiting gon on whale island,his dad has to go on some mission so I decided to go down to the island and see gon. I'm brining alluka,but from what I've heard from gon,Mito will probably spoil her with a girls day or something like that. So while me and gon are at the house or doing whatever,they'll be staying at a little inn down by the beach. Mito promised she would find a place close enough to the house so that if alluka needed me,I could get there in no time.

"Big brother? I think we're here!"
I didn't realize how tired I was,I completely fell asleep on the boat. I thought we were already there,but it was a dream? I think I need to get more sleep from now on...
" oh yeah" I say though a yawn.
"Look! I can see gon on the dock!"
I stood up so fast I felt a bit dizzy,but she was right! I could recognize the spiky hair anywhere!
"Gon! Hay we're here!"
I could hear him yelling,his arms were flailing around like a maniac,he was even jumping.
"Killua!!"

Gone pov:
I yelled his name at the top of my lungs it almost hurt! But I had to make sure he could see me.
"Hay it's me!! You made it!!"
I could see the boat start to stop,I ran to part where he would get off,and waited. My foot tapping the ground,I am very impatient when it comes to things like these.
Then,I saw him. I could see his white hair and his blue eyes. He was looking around in confusion until I yelled again.
"Over here!!"
I jumped again,I couldn't get through the crowd of people. I started to run,bumping into a lot of people along the way.
"Excuse me!sorry!watch out! Coming through! Sorry!"
But then I saw him,right in front of me. It had been forever since we had seen each other in real life, but he didn't look any different. Still the best friend I made at the Hunter exam.

Killua pov:
"Hay-"
I couldn't say anything before he grabbed me so tight I felt like my ribs could break,but instead I laughed.
"Good to see you to gon!"
I said through laughter.
"Dude you're suffocating me a bit here"
"Sorry!"
He let me go and smiled,then he said hi to alluka and said her new dress looked very nice. He was always the kind to compliment anyone,even if that person hated him. It was honestly a thing I never got about him,but it doesn't matter now. I'm here now so let's have fun!
"Oh alluka this is my aunt Mito! She has been dying to meet you! She said she has a surprise for you!"
"Gon don't spoil it!"
Mito said as she playfully slapped him in the back of the head laughing.
"Sorry! I just really think she'll like it!"
It was kind of funny watching them,they seemed so happy.
"It's good to see you killua!"
"Oh- uh yeah good to see you to"
"Ya know gon has been talking about you nonstop since him and his father came back to whale island? It's honestly kind of sweet!"
"Mito!"
Gon said blushing of embarrassment a bit,or maybe it wasn't embarrassment?
"Oh come on it's fine to miss your friends! I know I sure do!"
I missed gon a lot more than I thought I would,it was honestly really hard not to think about him the whole time we were apart. I wonder if he felt the same way?
"Ok Alluka why don't you come with me and we can have a girls weekend! We can do anything you want ok?"
" really!?"
"Yup! And since I rented us a little room at the inn around the corner of our house,we can see gon and killua whenever we'd like! So if you ever need your brother just tell me and I can walk you up to the house ok?"
"Okay!"
Wow she really has it all planned out I guess.
"Killua?"
"Huh?"
"Are you okay?"
"Oh yeah I'm fine,just a bit tired from the ride here"
"Well you can take a nap in my room if you want!"
"Oh uh"
"Come on it's the least I can do for now! I don't really have anything planned for today so you can rest up for tomorrow!"
"Um okay I guess"
I said while giving a nervous smile.
"Okay let's go! Bye aunt Mito! By Alluka, have fun!"
"Bye!"
We started walking up the hill,I looked around a bit,it hasn't really changed since my last visit.
"We're here! You remember where my room is right?"
"Yeah I remember"
I say as I take off my shoes and put them by the door
" well you can sleep in there,and I'll make us some snacks for when you wake up!"
"Okay! You can just wake me up whenever"
"Okay"
I walked up the stairs to gons room,it looked exactly the same as before,it looked like it had been cleaned for hours,it smelled pretty nice too. Which is weird because I've only ever seen him wear that green outfit.i put my bag down and sat on the bed,I sat there for a bit before I laid down
On the bed and fell sleep.

Gone pov:
I'm really glad killua is here,I hope he gets enough sleep! I really want to do a bunch of cool stuff with him! I have a whole day planned and-
"BEEP""BEEEEEEEEP"
The fire alarm?!
I ran into the kitchen to find a pot aunt Mito had forgotten on the oven
"Crap crap crap!"
I started to panic and tried to grab the pot and poor the water out
"Not right now! Why beep right now!"
I tried to poor the water but I was so panicky I accidentally spilled some on my arm,I yelled in pain and dropped the pot on the floor.
"Danm it!"
"Gon?! Are you okay?!"
"Yeah I'm all good! Ow ow ow ow ow!!"
"What happened?!"
He stared to walk quicklytowards me,looking concerned.
" let me see"
"It's really nothing it's fine!"
"Oh jeez just let me see it!"
He grabbed under my arm and pulled it closer to him, looking at the burn.
" what did you do?"
" there was a pot on the stove and I tried to pour it out and I kind of,spilled it on me instead.."
I said using my other hand to rub the back of my neck.
"Of course you did,gosh I can't believe you haven't lost at least one of your finger yet."
I stared laughing at his joke,it was kind of true though.
"I'll take care of it you should go back to sleep"
"You sure?"
"Yeah it's fine!"
He stared to consider the idea of going back to sleep but he clenched his eyebrows and look up at me
"I'll fix it"
"What?"
I said with confusion,why would he want to fix my wound? He should be making fun of me right now like he normally would,but something's changed..
"Do you have bacitracin?"
"Oh uh yeah it's in the bathroom cabinet"
"Ok,come on"
He didn't let go of my hand for some reason,he dragged me to the bathroom and I sat on the edge of the bathtub.
I flinched a bit when he put the sanitizer on my burn to clean it.
"It only stings for a second,it should stop in a bit"
"Well it's better than regular hand sanitizer"
Killua smirked,he grabbed the ointment from the cabinet and put a generous amount of it on his hand and rubbed it on the burn.
"That feels a lot better"
"Yeah this stuff works for a lot of things"
He wrapped my arm in a small bandage, making sure it covered the whole wound.
"Is it to tight?"
"No it feels ok!"
"Good"
A few seconds fallowed after because he was still holding my arm even after he finished putting on the bandage.
"Killua?"
"Huh? Oh sorry"
He quickly pulled his hands away and looked away a bit
"It's ok,thanks for helping me"
"It's no big deal"
He said as he got up and looked at the floor.
"I think we could both use a nap now"
"Ha yeah I'm so tired"
We both walked up to my bedroom,but then I realized we didn't have the extra mattress because it got ripped.
"Oh crap,I completely forgot we don't have the extra mattress anymore!"
I slapped my palm to my forehead.
"It's ok I can sleep in the floor"
Killua said trying to stop me from hitting my head over and over with my hand.
"Well I'm not going to let my best friend sleep on the floor after he just got off a wicked long boat ride!"
He stared to think and I did to,what could we do? Until I thought of something.
"Why don't we try and get one tomorrow and we could just sleep in my bed tonight!"
