the adele siblings.

the first born, jayden adele, own a tough personality yet soft for his little siblings. their father died when they were so young, and their mother left them with another men for money. jayden have been the backbone for his siblings, he sacrificed a lot, his time, his energy, his money and his feelings just for the youngers had a comfortable life.

jayden is a design and fine arts lecturer in photography course. he enjoys natures views but he have no talent in painting and drawinh so he decided to master at least in capturing. he learned about the whole things in photography and manage to get a recommendation from his university as a pretty excellent photographer to get job. then he choose to be a lecturer, so he can let others learned how capture the views they love using lenses and technology.

jayden have two younger siblings that have a pretty far age gap from him. the other two in their twenties but him already reach his 36th. since they have a pretty far age gap, the other two respect him just as they respect their father. jayden is sturn and pretty disciplined, he hate messy stuff, he even had a daily schedule so he is not going to waste any time. he work had for them and he succeeded.

he own a bungalow with a small garden and land in his property. he own one car and one bike just as how they need. nothing more, nothing less. you could say their life pretty simple yet comfortable.

the second born, emi adele, own a boyish behavior and love to have fun a lot. she talk pretty harshly, cursing is her favorite thing to put when talking. she loves doing silver jewelry, customing clothes and sell it for money, she saves the money jayden gave and doing small business online to make some more for her having fun with her friends.

emi is the mood maker in their house, she is humorous, she makes everything less tight. she always have her way in her own problems. she is smart and tough, most of boys are afraid to come near her because of her personality. one thing about her, she likes or you can say she loves women and no feelings to boys or men.

emi lives in jayden's house, well she wants to buy and own her own but jayden refused.

"there is me that can give you roof and stuffs so why would you want to go and get your own ? rely on me, that's what oldest for"

that's what jayden said when emi decided to buy her own apartment unit one year ago. they have a pretty bad blood during that period but at the end, emi choose to follow what jayden said since jayden is her older brother that have work so hard for her and the youngest.

the last one, warka adele, gloomy one, rarely get out from his room. unfortunately, he become like that after he got into a fight with his highschool friend and he got hit by a steel stick right to his head and that make him lose his hearing.

warka used to be bubbly and cheerful kid, but he was frustrated because he can't hear a thing after the incident. he blame himself for being so angry for the insult he received that day, he should've just let it be then he will still have his hearing.

flashback

jayden and emi rushed into the hospital and running to the emergency section.

"teacher ! where is warka ? how is he ? is he okay ?"

jayden shaking the homeroom teacher desperately, he is worried sick when the teacher told him that warka got into a fight and got hit by a steel stick right by his head. while emi biting his lips and walking back and forth worrying about warka.

warka is not a type of kid that will easily got into a fight, he is pretty chill and if he got mad by it, then there must be something that pretty offended him.

the doctor come out while taking off his rubber gloves and mask then exhaled.

"the guardian of warka adele ?"

"ye- yes i am ! i am his brother ! how is he ? is he okay ? please tell me he is doing good"

the doctor put his palm on jayden's shoulder and smile,

"he is doing good, your little brother is a tough one and he did so well in there. he will be wake up anytime soon, you can come inside after the nurses clean up and bring him to his room, now please excuse me"

jayden thanking the doctor so many times that he didn't realize that he is crying in relief. while emi dropped on the chair and sighed. emi rubbing her face harsh then got up and walk to his brother who is crying on the floor.

"it's okay, warka is doing well. you can go back to work, i can take care of warka. come over after your work, we can take care of him together"

jayden got up and nodded,

"take care of him, i will be back and call me if anything happens"

emi nodded.

a boy throwing the blanket and pillow while screaming his lungs out desperately. hitting his head on the side right by the ear with wide eyes. the nurses and doctor come into the room in rush to calming the boy from the rage.

"hold him down tight !"

one of the nurse is preparing a sedative and give it to the doctor to inject it at the boy before he they lose their grip on that boy. the doctor slips up the boy's sleeves and injecting the sedative in a blink of eyes. slowly the boy calm down and losing his consciousness then fall asleep afterward.

"wh- what happened doc ? why warka went rage like that ?"

after they do some exam work on warka the doctor and nurses come over and face jayden and emi that night.

"i am sorry about what i am about to say but, warka adele, your brother has lose his hearing because of the impact he received from the incident"

"wh- what ?! no ! there must be any mistake ! try again ! do your diagnoses again ! he can't be deaf, no ! not him ! he has a bright future ahead, he can't— no ! please do something, please doc i beg you. just- the price- tell me the price i will make it happen so please, i beg you"

"i am sorry mr adele, but this is fate and that's all i can do for your younger brother. now please excuse me"

after give out the information to jayden and emi all the medical staff walk away leaving them processing the information.

"w- we need to be strong for warka, we can't so weak like this ! come one jay ! he need us !"

emi said while pulling jayden into warka's room. when they stepped inside, warka look at them and that when they both realized how helpless the youngest are.

"warka......... how are you doing ?"

jayden said as they both slowly walk towards warak who is sitting on the bed. warka frowned when he see that jayden is talking but he can't hear a thing. his heart beating so fast, his world stop.

he reach his ears and flicking his fingers there but he hear no sound. he look at jayden and emi together desperately.

"j- jah i can he..are you.....aht append ?"

that's what jayden and emi hear when warka talking, even they can't believe their ears about what just happened. they hug warka together and cried while warka still trying to make jayden and emi talk to him to hear their voice desperately.

his world collapsed when he realized that he really can't hear a thing. he is deaf, and that's the fact that he need to accept for his whole life afterwards.
