"So, when are you planning on telling my brother you're in love with him?"

Kelsey and Aurora were in her room, listening to music and reading magazines. It had been a week since prom, and Aurora was confident in her feelings for Luke. After exposing Chad, she realized Luke was the only one for her. He was the one who made her feel special, supported her songwriting dreams, and was always there for her. Aurora could feel it in her bones—no one else made her feel the way Luke did. She sighed and sat up, still holding the magazine.

"When the time is right," she said.

"If you get together with my brother, does that make us sisters?" Kelsey asked.

"Only if I marry him," Aurora replied.

"I'm thinking a June wedding," Kelsey teased, causing Aurora to throw a pillow at her.

"Would you stop planning my future for me?" Aurora chuckled. "I haven't even told him I love him, and you're already planning our wedding."

"I like planning ahead," Kelsey said, flipping to another page in her magazine. Her eyes widened as she saw a certain article. "Did you see this?"

"See what?" Aurora asked, moving over to her.

Kelsey showed her the magazine, revealing a picture of Chad running from the prom. Aurora's eyes widened.

"Holy shit," she mumbled.

"Guess hiring the paparazzi backfired on him," Kelsey said.

"Karma is a bitch," Aurora added, and they both chuckled.

"You know I'd love to stay, but I gotta get home. Carla's ordering wings tonight. I'll be over tomorrow," Aurora said, getting up from the bed.

"Oh, I'll be over at my mom's tomorrow," Kelsey replied, causing Aurora's eyes to widen.

"Oh," she said. "Is...is Luke going?"

Kelsey shook her head. "No, unfortunately. I tried to convince him, but he won't budge."

"That sucks," Aurora said.

"Hey," Kelsey's face lit up, "maybe you can get through to him."

"Maybe," Aurora shrugged. "I wouldn't know where to start."

"Just try to get him to open up. You guys have a close bond," Kelsey suggested.

"I'll see what I can do," Aurora nodded. "I'll see you later."

Aurora walked downstairs and saw Luke on the couch, writing in a book.

"Hey," Aurora waved, smiling.

Luke looked up and closed his book. "Hey," he smiled back.

"I'm heading out," Aurora said, then noticed Luke's journal next to him. "Working on a new song?"

"Oh," he turned to his journal, "it's nothing, just a bunch of words."

Aurora looked at him, confused. For just a bunch of words, he seemed really focused. "Uh, okay. Well, I'll see you later, I guess."

"Yeah, see you, Rory," he said, turning back to his journal.

Aurora walked toward the door but hesitated as she reached for the handle. Kelsey wasn't going to be home tomorrow, but Luke would be. Maybe he could use the company.

"Hey," she turned back to him, "I know Kelsey won't be home tomorrow, but is it fine if I still come over?"

Luke was surprised. Aurora had never been over when Kelsey wasn't home. "Oh, yeah, sure."
