Simon's POV:

It was just your average school day, I was putting away books and taking books out for the next class, then I feel someone tap my shoulder.

"Simon?" the voice called.

Wait I know that voice! I turn around, it was Jeanette.

"You still going to the meadow," she asks.

"O-Oh yeah," I stammer awkwardly. "Of coarse!"

"That's great!" she cheered.

I'm still sort of worried that Alvin had said something else to her to embarrass me. That is something he would do.

Hours later, School has ended, I walk to the meadow and I see Jeanette's beauty and grace from far away. Her long brunette hair was down and was swaying with the wind, her amethyst eyes were shining in the sun. She turned around smiling at me. I walk over to her.

"Hey Simon!" she cheered.

"H-Hey Jeanette." I reply.

We both sit down.

We stay silent for awhile, I couldn't stop thinking about what Alvin said, I also wanted to tell her that I didn't say all that, though it would break her heart.

"I have something to say to you," I tell her.

"Yes?," she replies.

"Remember when I called you last night?"

"Mhm?"

"Well it was Alvin..."

"Ah! I suspected that at first." she said sounding disappointed.

"What did Alvin say?"

"Well, he said I'm so hot, trying to mimic you."

She seemed pretty sad that it wasn't me saying that.

"Well you are hot." I blurt out.

She looks at me and smirks.

"OH um I-I mean that in a nice way, not in a weird way, did I say hot I meant beautiful," I spiral.

Jeanette starts to giggle and my cheeks redden in embarrassment.

Jeanette slowly leans her face into mine, then I start leaning mine in as well.

Then all of a sudden Olivia's behind us.

"Hey guys!" she called.

"Olivia!" I exclaimed, not in a very happy way.

"What are you doing here?" Jeanette asks.

"Oh just you know, going on a little walk." she replies as she walks over next to me to sit down.

Olivia's POV:

I wasn't actually on a walk, Theodore told me where Simon was and also told me Jeanette was with him, on a date!

 HECK NO!

Simon is mine! I ain't letting some Chipette taking him away from me!

I wanted to bond with Simon, creating a unbreakable friendship, and then ask him out, and now's the perfect time to do that.

I kept on talking about my interests like sports, then Simon decided to leave and take that purple brat with her.

"Well would you look at the time!" he nervously said, checking his watch.

"Let's go Jeanette!"

They both walk away and I'm just left alone in this grassy field.  The nerve of him, just leaving me here alone!

 Does he not like me?!

jeanette's POV:

Simon and I walked over to the street and leaned on a wall, it was getting dark. Simon pulled out his phone and called Dave to pick us up.

A few minutes later, he pulled over to where we were standing and we walked in.

We both thanked him and sat in the backseat.

Next I knew I woke up on Simon's shoulder!

Simon's POV:

Jeanette got tired and drifted to sleep on my shoulder, She looked so cute sleeping.

she slept the whole car ride. When we arrived home I nudged her gently, so she'd wake up.

she slowly opened her eyes, and then widened them as if she just realised something.

"Oh Simon, I'm so sorry!" she apologised.

"Oh it's fine jeanette, as long as your content, I am."

Jeanette smiles at me and my face suddenly starts to redden.

"Hey lovebirds, how'd it go?" Alvin asked, popping out of no where.

"Alvin were you in the car the whole time?!" I asked concerningly.

"Yep." he replies.

"Alvin I told you to stay at home!" Dave he firmly chided.

"well, I just wanted to see how my big bro is doing, on his little date you know?!"

"ALVINN!!" We all shout in unison.

Then dave gets out of the car and picks up Alvin and carries him inside.

"Wait Dave no!" Alvin yelps.

"Well, I had fun with you today," Jeanette remarks.

"Yeah me too."

We both step out of the car and walk home,

"I'll see you tomorrow Simon," Jeanette calls.

"See ya!" I call back.

I open the door and head inside the house.

Jeanette's POV:

I reach the treehouse and open the door, my sisters were standing at the door with a very eager expression.

"So how did it go?" Brittany asked.

"Did y'all kiss yet?" Eleanor asked.

"What did y'all do?"

The two had loads of questions, very curious.

"Alright, alright!" I say to silence the two.

I tell them everything, including the part where Olivia comes over uninvited.

"I knew Olivia was no good!" Brittany says.

"yeah!" Eleanor agrees.

"Now, now, I'm sure Olivia means no harm!" I say, trying to calm the two down.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that." Brittany remarks.
