Mistake.

You didn't mean to do it, did you?

But you did it. And now your soul knows no peace!

They walked down the large long tunnel connecting the children's corner and the bar. This corridor was closed off from the children's view behind a door to which only Anika had access. So the young educator, wanted to protect the children just a little bit from the reality from the world.

The music was very quietly pouring further down the tunnel. It was faintly audible, probably those who ran the bar had taken Anika's suggestion of quiet music.

Anika led them quietly, gracefully like a lady. She was confident in the dark, which was very strange. I forgot to mention that Anika wore glasses. But she had been doing without them for a year now. And when asked why don't you wear them? She said she wore contacts. Which was a lie.

Richard's body itched and ached.

He was cold and hot at the same time, his joints were burning and tearing from the strain. His heart wanted to jump out.

But it all stopped quickly when Richard's body was touched by very warm and familiar hands. They were Shadow's hands. Oh boy, how Richard loved that feeling of calm when their daddy touched him.

Shadow was strong in the dark, no wonder he was around now. Damn!!! Richard always didn't understand why Shadow helped him when he was in pain, when he was sick. Richard also couldn't understand why he was always the one obsessing over Shadow when the other wanted to talk to the kids. The only explanation was that Richard was approaching Shadow's years when he was still alive. Or Shadow just liked to use Richard's body specifically.

As Shadow used to say, "When I inhabit you. I feel strong, like I've always been military."

Those words were very... They were very much in Richard's soul. Shadow though tried to find equality among all the children, treating them all the same. But like all living things... He had his favorites. Not as obvious, but Richard could tell right away that his father loved Anika. This little lesbian ball of nerves, was very determined. She was able to create a baby corner that made Shadow glow with pride!

Also, Richard could sense that another of his father's favorites was him.

Richard's relationship with his real father was terrible. But Shadow.

Shadow possessed Richard, sometimes it felt like he was stealing a part of his personality. But every time they met in the mind... The first thing Richard did... Was cry in Shadow's arms.

Emotional release. Shadow tried to give his all every time to comfort Richard. Of course the former didn't like it, but seeing, feeling what Richard was experiencing when Shadow owned him.

Helped to the best of his ability. Shadow unknowingly began to possess Richard at night. It had bad consequences, but it still helped Richard deal with his problems. Of course, there couldn't be a darker side to the story.

Richard felt Shadow's touch all over his body. From his chest to his stomach, from his stomach to his thighs, then back again. Shadow didn't seem to be comforting Richard, but groping him. Which didn't help much.

One movement near his neck and Richard stopped abruptly. Shadow gently stroked the former captain on the top of his head whispering soothing words.

Then Shadow removed his hand from Richard's neck and all the physical pain immediately let go of his body. Relief, calmness and many other feelings filled Richard's body.
