Late mornings

Chapter 3

(AnnaLee's POV)

"Maybe I should stay, maybe I should go, maybe I should just leave this alone."

"Daniel shut up. It's 7 o'clock in the morning."

"That's exactly why I'm here. Get up I'm walking you to school."

I groaned and went to the bathroom and shower and all the necessities.

Daniel is my cousin and we have been so close since birth. Our birthdays are literally a week apart and he's the older one.

When I was done I walked out and went to my closet and picked out black leggings and black zip up combat boots, I also got a selfie crop top and curled my hair.

I wore black vans and my signature "A" necklace that I wear everywhere. I put on a little foundation and mascara and went down to eat breakfast.

"Hurry up A, we are gonna be late." Daniel whined and putting in my backpack in my back.

"Where is Cam and Keller?" I asked as I was being pushed out the door.

"They are already at school. You literally took so long."

I sat down in his black Range Rover and we started to drive off.

I hooked the AUX cord to my phone and started blasting Ordinary by Ricky Dillion. Daniel just rolled his eyes and clicked next. Which just so happened to be Tides by Jack and Jack.

"Come on Dani this is my jam." I yelled rolling my windows down.

"You say that about every song, and don't call me Dani."

We pulled into the school parking lot and we both jumped out of the car and ran into the school.

I barely made it to my locker and to class. I walked in as the bell rang. I sat down with Kenley and Mya and they looked at me in shock.

"What" I asked a little confused.

"Your never late" they responded and I just shrugged.

Just as Mrs.Johnson was about to take attendance the boy from yesterday walked in.

"You've got to be kidding me"i mumbled.

I rolled my eyes and looked and Kenley and told her that was the guy from yesterday she just nodded and went back to scribbling the agenda down for today. When I looked at Mya she was all googoo eyes all over Jacob. I rolled my eyes and nudged her saying that was him.

He saw me, smirked and sat down right next to me.

"So why didn't you call?" I asked as he eyeballed my friends.

"Because your a conceded player." I sasses back as Mya butted in.

"Sorry about her, rough morning." I rolled my eyes and got up to talk to Mrs.Johnson.

"May I go to the library?" I asked trying to get out of here.

"Yes but someone needs to go with you."

I turned around to ask Kenley or Mya but Jacob cut in.

"I'll go, I need a book anyways." I crossed my arms and walked out of the class fast.

I was speed walking down the hall when Jacob jogged up to me.

"You know that if I get lost I just might have to ask your friend for help."

"Kenley hates you." I just kept walking.

"Now which one was that."

"Figure it out." I was stopped when he grabbed my arm.

"Why do you hate me so much?"

"Because your one of those guys who can any girl just by looking at them or if you don't you will be a jerk till they like you. Mya might fall for your game but I won't." I calmly said before walking into the library.
