Third Persons POV

"Helpp meee pweaseee," the small girl screamed as her mother threw her on the floor.

"Bob, Charlie, come deal with this piece of shit, I can't bear to look at it." The woman bellowed causing the small girl to whimper and cower away into the corner.

Bob walked over to her, picked her up and gave her a couple of hard punches to the face. He slammed her against the wall, and she dropped to the floor. In an angry, drunken and zooted rage, he began to kick at her ribs enjoying the satisfying sound of a crunch as each kick is being delivered. The small girl was shouting as loud as she could but was told to shut up. Slowly but surely, black dots began to cloud her vision and then all goes black.

Officer Miller's POV

I was informed this morning of the car accident that happened. It turns out that three drunk people were involved in a car crash as they hit a trailer carrying gasoline.

I was also informed that there was a small being that lived with them on the premises, and I knew I had to help him or her. I drove to the address with an ambulance and one other car with me.

I looked around and saw that the area was dangerous and desolate. I walked to the front door with my right hand ready to grip my gun if anything unbelievable happened. I knocked three times but there was no response. I grabbed my gun and shot at the hinges of the door. The door instantly fell apart, and I stepped inside the house.

Inside were smashed things, broken bottles, upturned furniture, knifes scattered everywhere with most of them having blood on them. I look over in the corner and see a figure on the floor with blood everywhere. I quickly rush over to it while calling the paramedics inside.

I check the wrist and I see it is a girl. I feel a weak pulse. The paramedics carry her on the stretcher out to the ambulance and rush to the hospital. She was rushed to emergency services and had to do immediate surgery.

The doctor came back to where I was waiting and told me that it was a successful surgery. She had broken five ribs, her femur and had loss of bladder control. She had to learn how to live life again because she had lost control. She woke up and I asked to see her.

I walked in and she was in a sorry state. She was ready to be discharged as her surgery was successful. I carried her to the police station and into the kid's room. I laid her down on the bed and she drifted off to sleep. I went back to the hospital and asked for her blood to run a DNA test.

Valentino's POV

I used to be a cheerful man, but my heart is one of sorrow. I lost my wife and my two-year-old daughter on the same day. I still remember that day as clearly as anything.

Flashback.

My house was filled with lovely giggles and my heart instantly warmed. "Daddy, Daddy!!"

I turn around and see my daughter; Athena run up to me. I caught her in my hands, set her on her hip and she squealed in delight. "Me had so pleny fun and me chase a buwwerfly." She said while squealing remembering what she had done that day. "That was good, Athena. Please continue." She continued rambling about her day until my alarm system sounded.

It was a red one meaning someone had broken in. Little did I know that was the last day I would hold my bambina for a long time. I quickly gave Athena to my most trusted friend and guard; Owen. He took her from me and promised to guard and keep her safe.

I walked quickly downstairs and saw Stanislav Volkov; the head of the Russian Mafia pointing a gun at Eva, my wife's, head. "Surrender your mafia to me now!!" He bellowed cause the whole room to break out in murmurs. He loaded the gun and asked the question again but this time adding not one but two conditions. "Surrender your mafia to me now or you'll never see your dear daughter again and your wife gets shot in the head."
