Justice

Justice is a double-edged sword
He sees all and nothing at all
Your sins revealed to his eyes alone
There's no escaping his word

The good and bad, measured,
The scales weighting, balancing,
In meticulous calculations
There's little room for error
No space for manipulation

Perhaps, the intent behind the crimes
But even that the voices ponder
The acts of folly, rights and wrongs,
He brings them all to the light

He is one, and he is many
Overseeing the whole process
A hall of countless reflections
Pondering on all the choices

He is Jury, Judge and Executioner
And knows only of one punishment
To enforce upon the guilty

Absolution of the soul
Can only be achieved
Through death,
And rebirth
Nothing more
