In the early 1980s, Mark Calaway's life took an interesting turn when he met and began dating Chiara.
However, their budding romance was soon interrupted as Calaway decided to enroll at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas in 1985, where he would major in sports management and play as a center for the school's Rams basketball team that season.
But Calaway's college career was short-lived, as he ultimately decided to drop out in 1986 in order to focus on pursuing a professional sports career, briefly considering a stint playing basketball in Europe before ultimately setting his sights on the world of professional wrestling instead.
This proved to be a pivotal decision, as Calaway - known to wrestling fans by his iconic ring name, The Undertaker - would go on to become one of the most legendary and celebrated figures in the history of the WWE.
Meanwhile, Calaway's personal life also saw some major changes during this period. In 1987, he and Chiara welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Destiny.
A few years later, in 1989, Calaway married his first wife, Jodi Lynn, with whom he had a son named Gunner Vincent Calaway in 1993. However, that marriage ultimately ended in divorce in 1999.
Calaway then married his second wife, Sara Frank, in 2000, and she even made some televised appearances with the WWE as part of a storyline feud between Calaway and Diamond Dallas Page, where she was acknowledged as Calaway's wife. Calaway and Sara went on to have two daughters of their own, Chasey and Gracie, but that marriage also ended in divorce in 2007.
Meanwhile, Chiara married Cole in 1996 and welcomed three children with him: two sons, CJ in 2001, and Cole in 2005, and a daughter, Tyanah in 1997. Chiara and Cole's marriage ended in 2006 in divorce.
Remarkably, Calaway and his original flame, Chiara, ended up reconnecting and rekindling their relationship in 2008, ultimately marrying in 2010. Their second child together, a daughter named Danica, was born in 2011, and in 2018 the couple welcomed another daughter, Daisy. Calaway and Chiara have also since adopted a younger son named Delon, rounding out their blended family.
