2001
When I first met Sara, I knew she was someone special. I had been married once before, to Jodi.
But after some time, Jodi and I realized our relationship had run its course, and we decided to go our separate ways.
It wasn't an easy decision, but we both knew it was the right thing to do.
After my divorce, I found myself feeling a bit lost and uncertain about the future. But then I met Sara, and everything changed.
There was an instant connection between us, a spark that I hadn't felt in a long time. We started dating, and it didn't take long for me to realize that she was the one for me.
On July 21, 2000, Sara and I tied the knot, and I couldn't have been happier.
Jodi and Chiara were both a bit shocked at first, but they quickly came around and welcomed Sara into our blended family with open arms.
It was a beautiful blending of our two worlds, and I was grateful to have such a supportive and loving group of people in my life.
Sara's debut in the wrestling world was a bit of an unexpected surprise, to say the least.
It all started with a series of stalker footage that was played on RAW, the WWE's flagship show, starting on May 28, 2001.
Week after week, the footage showed someone lurking in the shadows, watching my every move. It was creepy, to say the least, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.
Finally, on June 18, 2001, the stalker was revealed to be none other than Diamond Dallas Page.
This, of course, set off a heated feud between myself and DDP, and Sara found herself right in the middle of it all.
She made her first official appearance on WWE television during this storyline, and let me tell you, she didn't hold back.
Sara was fierce, determined, and fiercely protective of me. When DDP tried to get to me through her, she wasn't having any of it.
She stood her ground, and on August 20, 2001, she even managed to defeat DDP with a little help from yours truly.
It was a moment that I'll never forget, and it just solidified my love and admiration for my wife.
After that, Sara quietly disappeared from the wrestling world. I think she was just ready to step back and focus on our family.
Around that time, Chiara and her husband, Cole, welcomed their second child, a son named CJ. It was a joyous time for all of us, and I was grateful to have such a wonderful support system.
Even though Sara was no longer in the spotlight, she was still very much a part of my life. She was my rock, my confidante, and my best friend.
We had been through so much together, and our bond only seemed to grow stronger with each passing day.
