+ D'Angelo +I pushed back my hair as I stared at the racetrack ahead of me. I wasn't allowed to race today, I'm on suspension because apparently I raced too much? Whatever the fuck that means.
That means you have no life.
I bit the inside of my cheek, and kicked my feet as I sat on the bleachers. Everyone around me was cheering for the upcoming racers, which caused me to scoff. They don't flash me when I'm up there.
Who are you kidding, you take them to bed with you.
Score!
I looked around, watching hundreds of girls run up to the racers. Some of them even went as far as touching their car. Those bitches wouldn't have fucking hands if I was the racer. I let nobody near my car, and when I do, it's a very rare occasion.
I stared down at the parking lot, seeing my lime green BMW M4 sit there. It was decked out with chrome rims, tint, and detailing on the grill. Can you tell I've put a lot of money into it?
You seriously have no life.
I grumbled at my thoughts, rising to my feet. I walked down the bleachers, pushing past people. So many people were making me sick. My head was clouded, and I could feel the migraine start to form. I was tired of being here, I've been here for three hours, watching people race.
And then you wanted me to shut up when I said you had no life?
I grabbed my keys from my pocket, and hopped off of the bleachers. I walked over to my car, and unlocked it. I held my hand on the door handle before picking up my head. A glossy black Toyota Supra MKV rolled into the lot. I whistled low, waiting to roll by. People stared at it, and I practically was salivating.
Whore.
Damn fucking right. The wing on the car was beautiful, pulling the car together. You can tell that the car was just bought, everything was still stock. The rims, the tires, the body. Whoever owned this car was one lucky mother fucker.
I pulled on the door handle of my car, sitting in the driver's seat. I stared at the NOZ tank in the background, frowning at the sight. They should've let me race. I pressed my foot on the clutch, starting my car. The loud rumble caused everyone's heads to turn. I looked across from me, the Supra idling in a parking spot.
You have a gun, go rob him.
I shook my head, turning my radio up before pulling out of the lot. I sped down the streets of New York, never could I ever get sick of this. Motorcyclist pulled up next to me, trying to race me, thinking I was another car freak that they could beat. They were fucking weong. My ego is way too big to let a mother fucker on two wheels beat my baby.
Your ego isn't the only thing big.
Alright. That's enough.
I gripped the steering wheel, shifting gears and pushing my car quicker. I grinned wide, watching as I gapped the bikes. I smirked, before downshifting and going the speed limit like a normal citizen now. The pastel blue house slowly showed in my vision. I pulled in the driveway on a slant, so I didn't scrape my car on anything. I backed in next to Josie's pink car, and slowly got out.
Cosmo and Wanda.
I smiled, looking at both of the cars before skipping into their house like I owned the place. I frowned when the door swung open.
"It's not safe to have your door unlocked!" I shouted into the quiet house.
"Holy shit!" Josie swung a pan at me and I shrieked.
"Whatever you do, don't hit my face!" I screamed, and she held her hand over her heart.
"Don't do that!" She pointed her finger at me, and I sighed, sitting on the counter as she continued to do the dishes.
"Where is your husband?" I asked, and she rolled her eyes.
"Probably finding some new technology that will give him a boner." She blew her straightened hair out of her face, and looked at me before drying her hands.
"I'm going to get laid tonight too!" I blurted out, covering my mouth with my hand.
Too soon?
"What are you doing here?" She sighed, placing her hands on her hips. I frowned, grabbing an apple from the fruit basket.
I already had one today, let's put it back.
I placed the apple back down, the feeling of the skin making me shiver in disgust. I hate the texture of it.
"Do you want me to cut it for you?" She asked, and I shook my head quickly.
"No! I'm okay! I ate already today!" I shouted quickly and she raised her eyebrow at me.
I only had an apple, so if you see a speck of dust flying around, that's me.
I smiled at my thoughts, grabbing my phone from my pocket. I heard footsteps coming down the steps and I sighed. Here comes bigfoot.
"What's up lil bro?" I raised my eyebrow at him, and he grinned.
"Why did you call Kennan?" I narrowed my eyes, and Josie scoffed.
"Listen! You're at the race track every day! I just thought maybe if you couldn't race anymore, you would spend more time with us!" Abu Issac, the reason for my suspension. He called my coordinator and had him suspend me! Can you believe that?
I can. Did you not see what he did to Josie almost two years ago?
"What do you want to do for your birthday? It's coming up." Abu asked, placing a hand on my shoulder. I groaned, pushing his hand off of me and looking at the calendar. I would be twenty five in four days.
"I want to be able to race my car." I spoke in a mocking tone, and Abu shook his head.
"You and that car."
"She is the love of my life! Do not speak of her that way!"
