But baby
When I run
I'm running to you

It's been two weeks. Two weeks since I last saw Daytona. It wasn't like I tried to go look for her, but I hadn't seen her around the house when Trey came over with the boys and Maya. Or at the race track or fighting arena. She wasn't anywhere to be found. I can't ask Trey about her, because everyone will be confused as to why I'm asking about her.
Just tell them you want to kill her.
You know I do.
Exactly.
I stared ahead of me, Trey sat there, his face and body healing at a good pace. Maddox was practically back to normal, and back to being quiet and groveling about life. Alexander was speaking about something that just didn't seem important to me, and everyone was listening intently. I yawned, wanting to lay my head down on the table and sleep. Josie and Abu were getting ready to go on vacation, Aurora was putting the kids to bed, and my Dad had already pulled his sunglasses down over his face and fallen asleep.
Why are all of the cool people gone or asleep?
I frowned, looking around the room. Everyone was still listening to Alexander. Midas was staring intently at him, chiming in when needed.
"Our new weapon shipment comes in tomorrow. Josie said that Bullet was going to be laying low for a few days after that. Ever since Bullet killed Benny, the Brazilian mafia has been out for blood. I advise everyone else to lay low too. Abel, I would have your son, and daughter in law even postpone their vacation." Alexander frowned at his own words. I looked to my Dad who was sitting next to me, blackout sunglasses over his eyes. Aurora walked in, sitting down quietly at the table. Midas pulled her chair closer to him, and she let out a yawn. Trey looked down at his watch, and sighed.
"Juan might try to retaliate at us, since we are working with Bullet. She is a full reflection of us right now, so we must hold steady, and prepare for whatever war is coming our way." Not even a second later. He couldn't even get out a breath, or start another sentence. The door to the meeting room swung open. Josie stumbled into the room quickly, all of us looking at her confused. She shouldn't be here, she should be packing. That's when we noticed the blood. Abel jumped up, wrapping his arm around her.
"What happened, Honey?" He asked, brushing her hair out of her face. Midas ran to get one of the doctors, while Matteo pushed down on her wound.
"They took Abu!" She yelled, tears running down her face. She sobbed into Matteo's arm, the bullet graze bleeding slower as Matteo held pressure. Abel straightened his back and looked at Alexander.
"The war is already here." Midas gritted his teeth at his own words, looking down at Josie, and then to Abel.
"They held us at gunpoint, saying something about Benny being killed. Who the fuck is Benny?!" Josie screamed, before I watched the doctors rush in.
"We will talk more once you're treated." Matteo eased, and Josie held onto his hand.
"He has his wedding band on. We had trackers installed. Please, find him." Josie cried, before the doctors started to pick her up, and wheel her away. Matteo stood up, walking over to the table, and grabbing his computer.
"Matteo, I want you tracking. Abel, go sit with Josie. Yomar, check the footage on the house. Yusuf, get our men stationed around the house, and have more sent here. Dlo, see if you can find anything out about Benny's murder. Dom, wake up. Alexander and Trey, look at Juan's location, see if it still tracks." Midas spoke with authority, and everyone nodded their heads before jumping into action. All you could hear were clicks of keyboards together.
