Batear lay in the medicine room, his body aching. Missingear and he were only able to survive that fight with the wolves because a patrol found them and helped fight, otherwise, they would be in Star clan. With a long sigh, Batear laid his head on his ginger paws. Tired but also worried about Blackberry, the young tom had bright green eyes that were always filled with determination but now they were filled with pain. His paw was wrapped in a large leaf with cobwebs and some other herbs to stop infections from happening. Slowly closing his eyes Batear went to sleep, His injured body tired.

The moon shimmered brightly, illuminating the bluish grass. Batear had been here before, this clearing was familiar and was always filled with the sound of far-off whispers. Familiar scents drifted to Batear, saddens washed over him as Crowstripe's scent drifted in on the breeze. Walking up the sloop of cold grass Meadowgaze sat with Cornstar, the two watching him.

"The night of no moon is is five moons. You MUST get the clan of bark and hiss to agree to fight along side Burrow clan and Filed clan" Cornstar and Meadowgaze said, their voices mushed together.

"How?" Batear asked, his fur rising at the thought.

Meadowgaze sighed and muttered, "If Crowstripe were there than Darkclaw would have already agreed to fight,"

Cornstar bumped Meadowgaze and meowed, "You don't need to worry about that now."

Batear opened his mouth to speak but the two faded away into stars, leaving Batear alone in Star clans hunting grounds. Confused Batear looked around, usually when they fade away he wakes up. In the distance Batear saw Crowstripe and Ravenpool siting next to one another. Batear sprinted towards them, their faces filled with glee. Batear purred as he nuzzled Ravenpool, his old friend.

"It's been so long!" Batear cried.

"I know, its been like twelve moons!" Ravenpool purred, "That's so long! you could have trained two apprentices in that time!"

Crowstripe laughed but his expression was saddened, "I couldn't even train one apprentice,"

"But you did grate as a father," Ravenpool purred lying his tail on Crowstripe's shoulder.

Batear's ears layed agents his head as he meowed, "I promised Thornclaw to bring you home safely, I think I'll be joining you when I get home,"

"Thornclaw would probably do that. Out of anger and... sadness," Crowstripe said.

"You picked one fisty mate Crowstripe," Ravenpool laughed.

The three chucked at Ravenpool's remark. Batear felt his vision get blurry as a few tears fell to the ground that slowly got more distant, "I'm glad I knew you two," Batear meowed.

Slowly, Batear opens his eyes. His injury's feeling much better, seeing Ravenpool after so many moons made him feel like a little kit. A memory of how Batear and Ravenpool would play around camp came swirling back. If Batear wanted to convince the pack to help fight Forest clan and Night clan then he and the others would need to work harder.
