"Lizzie, wait!!!" Josie called, trailing right behind her sister, who was angrily walking down the hall

"No Jo, that asshole quite literally kidnapped our mother for all we know. We have to get her back," She yelled back at her sister

"I understand, lizzie, but let's just stop and think for a second, ok?" they entered their shared room. " I'm also worried about mom, but if we are going to figure out where she is and save her, we are gonna need a plan, we cant walk into a trap if we want to save her." Josie finished saying

"I just don't get it," the boys entered the room, accompanied by hope. "When did this even happen? I mean, she was literally outside of the cell with the boys. How... I mean, when did they even have the chance to kidnap her," the blonde twin broke down into a sob

"I know, Liz, i know." Josie comforted her sister

"Dorian.... i caught his scent in the room," Hope whispered, more to herself than to the squad, regardless, they heard it.

"He came by for a bit, but what about it?" questioned MG

"What did he want? I mean, what was he there for?" Hope asked, getting suspicious

"He just asked how everything was going, i think he had something to talk about with Caroline. He took her aside, and eventually, she left with him." Kaleb explained what he remembered

"That must have been it. Is suspicious enough to be worth checking out." Hope ran her hands through her hair in frustration."Boys, search the whole school, see if there is any sign of dorian."

"Got it!!" The boys left the room and started their search while Hope remained with the twins

"Lizzie," Hope stood in front of her at the foot of the bed. "We are going to find her, and when we do, they are gonna pay for what they did. I give you my word,"

"Thank you, hope," she replied

Silence fell into the room. Quite calming compared to the recent weeks of havoc. Hope was conflicted, worried, and a thousand other things, and still, she had to be strong. That's what being a leader meant. She longed for the easier days where they would just have to deal with weekly monsters from malivore. There was something so simple about knowing what to expect. And Hope yearned for those times.

"Hey," Hope heard behind her. "You ok?" Josie had asked

"Not really. Considering the fact that I feel murderous, which is never good as a mikaelson if you've read your history." the tribrid muttered under her breath, now facing the brunette.

"I don't usually condone to this, but -" Josie caressed the tribrids face, looking at those beautiful blue eyes she loved so much. "We need to do something about this, Hope. They can't keep getting away..... She and her people can't keep coming into our school and hurting people we care about.

Hope was taken back for a second. Here was the brunette, completely unfazed by her silent rage, and actually instigated her to send a message? To respond like a mikaelson? If anything, Hope fell deeper in love right then and there.

"Is that what you want?" Hope asked, taking a step forward."I'll retaliate in a heartbeat if that's what you want." She whispered as she put their foreheads together

"Is not what either of us want, actually. You are better than your parents, and i know they are proud of you for that. But i also know you need this right now. You need to be able to react. Right now, you need your enemies to understand the gravity of messing with your family. We need to retaliate."

"Stay with your sister... ," Hope gave Josie a light peck on the cheek and walked out of the room. Josie was right. They couldn't keep getting away with this. She was going to do something about it, now.
