When Sayaka woke up, she looked around the dorm room. She had completely forgotten that Leon had let her stay the night.

The morning announcement was yet to play, and Kuwata was sleeping soundly next to her. He had extremely messy bedhead, which Maizono wasn't even slightly surprised at.

She swung her legs down the side of the bed and quietly peered around the dorm room. Leon had a collection of CDs, a stereo, a microphone, and even a band poster. She was surprised everything was so organised and set in place.

As she looked at the spines of the cases and read each of the albums, she was surprised that they were all sorted alphabetically.

As she scanned down the list, she noticed a few that she'd heard of before. And then a CD she was all too familiar with.

Her own.

Kuwata-Kun had collected three CDs of Sayaka's band.

As she looked at the back and read all of the songs her and her band had sung together, tears formed in her eyes. It was a reminder of the motive video. She didn't bother checking the second one, it would just bring back memories.

And then she looked at the third and final CD.

She remembered recording it, and on the back it said which songs were written by which member... but they were all made by her. She had written each of the songs, and apparently this was their bestselling album.

But she had no recollection of ever doing so.

She never wrote those songs... did she?

The morning announcement made her jump when it played the familiar tune, and she quickly slid the CD back in the shelf.

"Oh, morning Kuwata!" Sayaka smiled, "I'll meet you at the cafeteria." she quickly rushed out of the dorm, trying to gather her thoughts.

As she shuffled down the hallways she looked at Junko, her face had a small smile on it, she barely blinked, and flicked one of her pigtails over her shoulder as she walked.

Maizono sighed to herself as she remembered Leon's paranoia after he died in the last game.

It didn't seem that Enoshima-San was... alive...

Alive truly wasn't the correct phrasing, but it was the only thing that Sayaka could think of to describe her and Leon being the only conscious students.

Everybody else was like an actor... following their scripts.

Sayaka made her way to the dining hall, sitting down with the other students.

"Alright everybody! Let's start our first official breakfast meeting!"

Sayaka sighed.

Maybe in another life her and Kiyotaka would be good friends, but in the one she was in she hadn't made an effort to talk to him.

She hadn't made much of an effort to talk to many of them...

Other than Leon, Makoto, and maybe Chihiro she really hadn't made any friends. She was so determined to get out she didn't even bother thinking about what life would be like if she stayed inside.

She started the killing game.

And now with her murderous attempt she was given a second chance... and a third chance apparently. Sayaka stared down at her lap and fiddled with her fingers.
