MAX
I woke up, angry from the nights events. I noticed my room was super clean, and there was breakfast on my nightstand, and a note. The note read: ~Sorry about last night! I made us reservations at our favorite club to make up for it! -PJ~ *PJ.. You sly dog.* I thought as I got up and ready for work. Of course I forgave him, and going to the club is my favorite. I quickly scarfed my breakfast, and headed out the door. In the car I listened to Powerline, my favorite band.

At work I noticed.. Roxanne.?! I quickly walked over to her, wondering what she was doing at my work.? "Uh, hey, Roxanne.? What are you doing here?" I asked her. She quickly looked up and noticed me, shock plastering her face. "Oh em gee Max is that you?! I haven't seen you since high school!" Roxanne said, pulling me into a hug. After the short embrace, she told me why she was at my place of work. "I work here too Max! We're colleagues!" She answered. We talked for a bit, reconnecting, and just enjoying each others company. Eventually we noticed how late we now were, and rushed inside. Bradley was there, talking with Pierre, he seemed upset. Pierre noticed me and Roxanne, and Bradley glanced over at us. He took a double take, and stared at me angrily. He stormed away, not looking back once.

The rest of the day was uneventful, filled with paperwork and talking to Roxanne. Supposedly Roxanne and Pierre are dating! *Good for them!*  I thought to myself. Once I left, I saw Bradley leaning against my beat up car. "Hello Freshman. I just have a question." He said in that old voice. "Uh sure, what's up Bra- I mean Boss." I replied fast, obviously flustered. I couldn't get the dreams out of my head. "Why were you talking with Roxanne so much today." Brad said, clearly jealous. "Why are you asking Brad? Are you jealous? Plus we're coworkers, of course I'm going to talk to her." I responded nonchalantly. "Just don't get distracted in the work place. And no I'm not 'Jealous'." He rolled his eyes and walked away, in the direction of a fancy Porsche in the distant corner of the parking lot. Getting into my car, I put on Powerline again, as a sort of pick-me-up for before hitting the club. The whole way there, I hyped myself up more and more. *This is gonna be a good night.* I thought to myself, grinning.
