It was time. I was already in the car, driving to Pete's. I would in fact get answers.
BRADLEY
I opened the door, and there he was. I didn't know who this imbecile was, and why he was pranking me. A strange feeling washed over me, like more time had passed than I remembered. I shook the feeling, and called out to the figure. "Hey you! Whoever you are, I will fire you for this!" No response. I walked out towards him, but before I could take more than five steps, he lunged at me. I dodged, and that's when I realized he was holding a knife. A blade, it was giant. I felt my face go white, fear staining my blood. I ran down the hallway, the intruder fast at my heels. He jumped on me from behind, I tried to shake him off, but before I could, his cold knife went into my side, his hot breath whispering in my ear: "Your little bitch boy will be here soon. Tell him to back off for me, would ya doll?" And then he was gone. I lay there, clutching at my wound, silent tears streaming down my face. A clock on the wall told me it was 10:05, I guess I just had to wait. I couldn't move, paralysis slowly taking over. I tried to call out, but my voice was hoarse. The waiting started, and it felt like an eternity.

I knocked on the door, Pete immediately answering. "Oh, hello Maxie boy! What're you doing at this late of night?" He said in that gruff voice of his. "Can I come in, Pete?" I asked, just the sight of him making my blood boil. I went inside, Pete asking me what's wrong, worry obvious in his voice. I sat on his old decaying couch, and he sat across from me. We talked, for an hour straight. Pete had an alibi, of course. But he did give me a new lead. Mickey Mouse.
