Ep 3. The False Classmate

On August 10, 2010, IC, the Holy Britannian Empire declared war on the United States and Japan. Using their powerful Knightmare Frames, Britannia swiftly conquered the northern part of Japan. The United States anticipated the conflict and deployed Patriot Mechs and Power Armor Infantry to defend their territory, but still lost Alaska, Iceland, and Central America. The conquered northern part of Japan was renamed Area 11 and was stripped of its freedom, rights, culture, and dignity. However, the southern part of Japan remained under USNA military protection and was free of Britannian control. The war continues today, and reunification of Northern Japan seems unlikely.

We cut back to the destruction of the Shinjuku Ghetto and the escaping of the Enclave.

Jeremiah: Why the hell are we letting the Elevens go?! What about the poison gas they've stolen?!

Officer: But it's by order by Prince Clovis!

Jeremiah: What about Bartley?! Get the general staff on the line!

Officer: They're not at their posts, sir.

Jeremiah: Are you telling me Prince Clovis is alone on the con?!

In the fleet, Lelouch points his rifle at the now terrified Clovis.

Clovis: I'm overjoyed, Lelouch. They said you died when Japan was brought into the fold. What a blessing to have you back. We should depart for the Homeland immediately.

Lelouch: So you can use me as a tool of diplomacy? It seems you've forgotten why we were used as tools in the first place.

Clovis then gasps.

Lelouch: That's right. It was because my mother was killed... Mother held the title of Knight of Honor, but was a commoner by birth. No doubt the imperial consorts held her in contempt. Even though you made it look like the work of terrorist, I'm no fool... You people killed my mother!

Clovis: It wasn't me! I swear to you, it wasn't!

Lelouch: Then tell me everything you know. The truth cannot be hidden from me any longer. By whose hand was she slain.

Lelouch's right eye then flashes and glows showing the Geass symbol. Then it enters Clovis' mind.

(Geassed) Clovis: My brother, second prince Schneizel, and second princess Cornelia, they can tell you...

Lelouch: (Gasp) They were at the heart of this?

(Geassed) Clovis: ...

Lelouch: That's all that you know, isn't it?

Clovis then regains back his consciousness and Lelouch's right eye then goes back to normal.

Clovis: (Yelps) I swear it wasn't me! I had... nothing to do with it!

Lelouch: I believe you. However...

Lelouch then points his pistol at Clovis' face.

Clovis: Please, you can't! We may have different mothers, but you and I are still blood!

Lelouch: You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty...

Then he pulls the trigger.

Meanwhile in Washington D.C.

In the heart and capital of the United States, people mostly go about their day while either supporting the US in it's war against Britannia or living their normal lives within the US. There the Capitol Building looms over as it signify's the power and justice it holds over the nation.
