Hoseok only realised that he had fallen asleep with Yoongi's warm body pressed against his when Jimin entered the room around midnight. He had stumbled over a pile of clothes in the dark and pulled everything off the bedside table with a crash, which startled Hoseok.

Yoongi only let out a low grumble and turned around in Hoseok's embrace so that his back was pressed against the younger man's chest. "Jesus, Jimin," Hoseok cursed softly, careful not to wake Yoongi.

"I'm sorry. I was trying to be quiet, but these fucking-" Hoseok didn't hear the rest, wrapping his legs around Yoongi and hugging him even closer. "Night, Jimin," he mumbled sleepily before slowly drifting off into a dreamless sleep again.

The next morning, Hoseok woke up to his alarm clock at 5:30 am. He quickly switched it off before Yoongi woke up. He didn't want his boyfriend to stress out about oversleeping - usually Yoongi woke up at 5:00 am because he had destroyed his sleep pattern so much that he couldn't sleep more than five hours a night.

"I'm already awake, Hobi," Yoongi whispered in Hoseok's ear.

Yoongi's whisper tickled Hoseok's ear, pulling him from the edge of sleep. He blinked, trying to adjust to the dim light filtering through the curtains. The weight of Yoongi's body against his was both comforting and concerning. "For how long?"

"Since about 3 am," Yoongi admitted quietly, his voice tinged with weariness. "Couldn't sleep much."

Hoseok sighed softly, his arms tightening around Yoongi in a gentle embrace. He knew the nightmares had plagued Yoongi again, the echoes of past trauma haunting his sleep. It pained Hoseok to know that even in his dreams, Yoongi couldn't find peace.

"I'm sorry," Hoseok murmured, pressing a kiss to the back of Yoongi's neck. "I wish I could take away your pain."

Yoongi shifted slightly, turning to face Hoseok. His eyes, heavy with exhaustion, searched Hoseok's face for reassurance. "You're already helping," Yoongi said softly, his fingers tracing the contours of Hoseok's jaw. "Just being here... it means everything to me."

Hoseok smiled gently, brushing Yoongi's hair away from his forehead. "I love you, Yoonie," he whispered, his voice filled with sincerity.

Yoongi's lips curved into a tired but genuine smile. "I love you too, Hobi," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

They lay there together in the quiet of the early morning, the world outside still and peaceful. Hoseok knew they couldn't linger in bed forever; they both had busy schedules ahead. But for now, he savoured the precious moment with Yoongi.

After a while, Yoongi sighed softly, reluctantly pulling away from Hoseok's embrace. "I should get up," he said quietly, though his eyes pleaded for a few more moments of rest.

Hoseok nodded understandingly, reluctantly releasing Yoongi. "Okay," he replied softly.

Yoongi smiled gratefully, swinging his legs over the side of the bed and stretching. Hoseok watched him for a moment, admiring the way the early morning light played over Yoongi's features, casting gentle shadows on his face.

"Hey, Yoongi-Hyung?" Hoseok smiled when Yoongi turned around to face him. "Did you already forget the challenge?"

Yoongi blinked sleepily at Hoseok, his mind still fuzzy with the remnants of sleep. "Challenge?" he repeated, furrowing his brow in confusion.

Hoseok chuckled softly, the warmth of their morning routine easing the tension that often lingered between them. "Yeah, the challenge," he replied, his smile turning mischievous. "Day two: naked kiss."

Realization dawned on Yoongi's face, followed by a shy smile. "Oh," he murmured, a hint of colour rising in his cheeks. "Right."

Hoseok grinned mischievously, his eyes sparkling with playful intent. "You ready for this?" he teased, his voice low and suggestive.
