Day 01

"Fuck!" shouted Hoseok, his eyes wide open as he slapped his hand over his mouth. In the background, he heard the soft beeping of Yoongi's mobile phone, which told him that the link had reached Yoongi and that he was surprised at that moment with the typical Tumblr layout and the gigantic headline "30 Days NSFW Challenge".

Hoseok quickly threw his mobile phone next to him and buried his bright red face in his hands. Yoongi must have thought he was a total idiot who was only interested in sex. But he wanted to show Yoongi that he wasn't just about sex. Hoseok didn't want to be a fucking arsehole like Yoongi's ex.

As he slowly lifted his head, he realised that all eyes were on him, and the look on Yoongi's face made him jump up and disappear into the bathroom. The door slammed shut behind him with a loud bang, but instead of sliding down it, he sat down in the bathtub, wishing he could just be swallowed up by the closure.

He had just wanted to save the link, but his sweaty hands had slipped, and now he had to face the consequences. Hoseok didn't even know exactly why he had opened this link. After all, he had no experience having sex with men and Yoongi only had bad ones. How could he have imagined that such a stupid challenge would change everything?

Yoongi would surely hate him for it. His break-up with Donghyun was only six months ago, and Hoseok could still see the pain and fear in Yoongi's eyes when Hoseok made jerky movements. Yoongi wasn't ready, and Hoseok had ruined everything.

A quiet sob escaped Hoseok at the same moment as there was a knock on the door. It was probably Yoongi, who was going to slap him and then dump him. At this thought, a somewhat louder sob broke out of Hoseok, and he put his hands over his mouth, but the person behind the door had apparently heard it.

"Hoba?" It was indeed Yoongi. Even if he hadn't recognised him by his voice, he would have by his choice of words. Only Yoongi called him Hoba, just like only Hoseok called Yoongi Yoonie. "May I come in?" echoed Yoongi's soft voice through the closed door.

Hoseok got out of the bathtub after a moment. His legs were trembling badly and everything in him resisted opening the door and looking Yoongi in the face. He wanted to hide forever and-

Suddenly, two slender arms were wrapped around Hoseok's waist and a dark mop of hair lay on his shoulder. Hoseok felt Yoongi's small nose picking up the scent of his T-shirt and Yoongi's large hands stroking up and down Hoseok's back. He hadn't even realised that he had opened the door.

Yoongi's gentle touch sent a wave of relief through Hoseok's trembling body. Despite his fears, Yoongi wasn't angry; instead, he was comforting him in the most tender way possible. Hoseok's initial impulse to pull away was overridden by the warmth and safety he felt in Yoongi's arms.

"Hobi," Yoongi whispered, his breath tickling Hoseok's ear, "it's okay. Please don't cry."

Hoseok leaned into Yoongi's embrace, letting himself be held. Yoongi's presence was a soothing balm to his anxious soul. He could feel Yoongi's heartbeat against his own chest, steady and calming. It was a stark contrast to the chaos of emotions swirling within him.

"I'm sorry, Yoongi-Hyung," Hoseok managed to choke out between sniffles, his voice muffled against Yoongi's shoulder. "I-I didn't mean to... I just... I thought maybe... but now..."

Yoongi gently pulled back, his hands still resting on Hoseok's shoulders. His eyes softened with understanding. "Hey, look at me," he urged gently.

Hoseok reluctantly met Yoongi's gaze, expecting to see disappointment or frustration. Instead, what he found was unwavering love and concern. It was overwhelming.

"I don't hate you, Hobi," Yoongi said softly, his thumb brushing away a tear from Hoseok's cheek. "I could never hate you." Yoongi's eyes held nothing but concern and something deeper—a vulnerability that mirrored Hoseok's own. Without a word, Yoongi gently cupped Hoseok's face in his hands, his thumbs brushing away the stray tears that had escaped Hoseok's eyes.
