Day 10

Recovering from depression isn't as easy as some people think. There are still days when you wake up feeling down, not knowing anything that could cheer you up, not even your boyfriend, whose smile usually makes your heart flutter.

Unluckily, today was one of those days. Yoongi woke up and immediately felt like closing his eyes again and never opening them ever again.

The familiar heaviness settled over him, making it hard to breathe, let alone move. He stared at the ceiling, feeling numb, disconnected from the world around him. He turned his head slightly, seeing Hoseok still sleeping beside him. Hoseok's face was peaceful, his lips curved into a slight smile even in sleep. Normally, the sight would bring Yoongi some comfort, but today it felt distant, like a beautiful scene from a film he couldn't quite connect with.

Yoongi sighed softly, not wanting to disturb Hoseok. He carefully slid out of bed, feeling the cold floor beneath his feet. Every step felt like he climbed a mountain as he made his way to the bathroom. He stared at his reflection in the mirror, seeing the dark circles under his eyes, the hollowness in his cheeks. He splashed some water on his face, hoping it would wake him up, but the water did little to wash away the bleakness.

When he returned to the bedroom, Hoseok was awake, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "Morning, Hyung," Hoseok said, his voice thick with sleep. He stretched, his movements slow and graceful. "Did you sleep well?" Yoongi forced a small smile, not wanting to worry Hoseok. "Yeah, I did," he lied, his voice sounding hollow even to his own ears.

Hoseok frowned, his eyes sharpening as he looked at Yoongi. "What's wrong, Yoongi? You don't look okay." Yoongi sighed, unable to hide his feelings from Hoseok. "Just... one of those days," he admitted softly. "I feel like there's a weight on my chest, and I can't shake it off. I'm sorry." 

Hoseok's expression softened with understanding and concern. He got out of bed and walked over to Yoongi, wrapping his arms around him in a tight hug. "You have nothing to apologize for, Yoongi-Hyung. I love you, and I'm here for you no matter what. We'll get through this together, one step at a time." Yoongi leaned into Hoseok's embrace, feeling some of the tension in his body ease. "I know, Hobi. I just... I don't know how to make it go away." "Sometimes you can't make it go away," Hoseok said gently. "But you can let someone help you carry the weight." He pulled back slightly, looking into Yoongi's eyes. "Let's take it easy today. No pressure, no expectations. We'll just do whatever you feel up to." Yoongi nodded, grateful for Hoseok's understanding. "Okay," he whispered, his voice cracking slightly. "Thank you, Hobi."

"Let's cuddle a little longer. Then Jin-Hyung will make us some breakfast, and we can all watch a film together, hmm?" Hoseok suggested, running a hand through Yoongi's hair. "Sounds okay, I guess," Yoongi mumbled, letting himself get picked up and carried back to his bed by his boyfriend. Hoseok laid Yoongi down and then slid in behind him, wrapping his arms around Yoongi in a protective, comforting embrace. They lay there in silence for a while, the only sounds being their synchronized breathing and the soft rustling of the sheets.

Hoseok nuzzled into Yoongi's neck, placing a tender kiss on his skin. "You're my everything, Hyung," he whispered, his voice filled with love and determination. "We'll get through this, I promise." Yoongi felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes. He turned slightly to face Hoseok, their foreheads touching. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Hobi." "You'll never have to find out," Hoseok replied softly. "I'm not going anywhere."

Yoongi sighed, feeling the warmth and comfort of Hoseok's embrace. He closed his eyes, allowing himself to melt into Hoseok's touch. The steady rhythm of Hoseok's breathing and the soft murmurs of reassurance lulled Yoongi into a sense of calm he hadn't felt all day. Gradually, the tension in his body eased, and he drifted off into a much-needed sleep.
