[A/N: there is no smut in this chapter. I didn't find it appropriate to write this scenario with the trauma and past Yoongi has. I hope you understand why after reading this chapter. It's full of angst but it was necessary to show that such a past can't be forgotten just like that.]

It didn't happen often that Yoongi came home drunk. At least not any more. Some years ago, it was normal that one of them found Yoongi's passed out body either on the couch or on the floor. It was normal that he constantly smelled like smoke and alcohol. It was normal that he fainted during dance practice because his body couldn't survive like this. But that was years ago.

Yoongi didn't fill himself up until he passed out. He didn't come home totally drunk. He didn't faint due to lack of nutrients. But somehow, he came home drunk that early evening, the smell of the addicting liquid sticking to him like glue. His body wasn't used to getting that drunk any more, so he got drunk after just a few shots of soju - he stopped counting after seven.

"Yoongi-Hyung?" Hoseok asked, flabbergasted as Yoongi stumbled into his room, almost knocking over some decorations on a shelf. "What the fuck happened to you?" Hoseok was quick to his feet, concern evident in his face. He was just there in time to catch Yoongi as he stumbled over a pile of Jimin's clothing.

Yoongi giggled drunkenly as Hoseok caught him, his body swaying slightly in Hoseok's grasp. "Hobi!" he slurred, nuzzling his face against Hoseok's chest. "I missed you." His words were muffled against the fabric of Hoseok's shirt, the scent of his cologne mixing with the lingering smell of alcohol.

Hoseok held Yoongi steady, one arm wrapped around his waist, while the other hand gently supported Yoongi's back. He could feel the warmth of Yoongi's skin through his shirt, a stark contrast to the cool touch of the night air creeping in through the open window.

"Hyung, are you okay?" Hoseok asked softly, guiding Yoongi towards the bed and helping him sit down. Yoongi's eyes were unfocused, but a mischievous glint remained, his lips curling into a playful smile. "I'm great," Yoongi replied, his words slurring together. "Just needed to see you." He reached up, attempting to pull Hoseok closer by his shirt collar, but his coordination was off, and he ended up leaning back against the pillows with a giggle.

Hoseok sighed softly, his concern mixing with amusement. He crouched down beside the bed, gently brushing Yoongi's hair away from his forehead. "You're drunk, Hyung," he murmured, trying to keep his tone light despite the worry knotting in his stomach. Yoongi pouted playfully. "Not that drunk," he insisted, though the slight hiccup that followed betrayed his state.

Hoseok couldn't help but smile softly at Yoongi's drunken antics, though worry continued to gnaw at him. "Alright, not that drunk," he conceded, brushing his thumb gently over Yoongi's cheek. "But you shouldn't have come home like this. You scared me."

Yoongi's playful demeanour faltered for a moment, replaced by a look of genuine remorse. "Sorry, Hobi," he mumbled, his voice tinged with regret. "Just needed to let loose for a bit." He shifted on the bed, attempting to sit up straighter but swaying slightly.

Hoseok's heart squeezed at Yoongi's vulnerability. He knew how stressful work had been for Yoongi lately, how much pressure he put on himself to excel. "It's okay, Hyung," Hoseok assured him, guiding Yoongi back against the pillows. "Let's get you settled, alright?"

Yoongi nodded slightly, his eyelids drooping as the effects of the alcohol started to catch up with him. "Can we..." Yoongi's voice trailed off, his cheeks flushing slightly as he hesitated.

Hoseok waited patiently, knowing Yoongi well enough to understand what he might be hinting at. "What do you need, Hyung?" he asked softly, brushing Yoongi's hair back from his forehead again.
