     And so she said. Telling her life, so slowly, and objectively.

     The cigarette stayed in her pocket for too much long time, the wrinkles pressed out of the cigarette paper swelled with moisture, and it took a long time before being ignited by the flame.

     Since that day, she lost a watch she had worn for more than three years. The skin on her left wrist that originally wore the watch strap became smooth, as did the wounds on the inside that had healed for many years.

     She always said that Carol Johnson was justified in not loving her, love is never equal, Carol was too young to divide herself between her career, her family, and the three children she conceived and gave birth to. Carol prefers the child who looks like her simply because that child is the most lovable.

     Love is unequal, just like Rayanna didn't love Carol who gave birth to her. But she loved several father figures in her life. She loved her sisters, but not her mother.

     So there was always harm between them, ever since Mom only got custody of her.
