"did you say something?" Jhoanna asked.
"Ah, wala" Maloi answered.
"I heard you mumble something" Jhoanna said.
"Wala yun" Maloi replied.
"Let's gala tomorrow?" Jhoanna asked.
"Sure" Maloi agreed.
"I have to get going na, goodnight, loi." Jhoanna stood up and left.
Jhoanna entered their room and saw Mikha and Aiah still up watching a movie while cuddling.
"Jho! Sali ka?" Aiah asked.
"No thanks, matutulog na ako, salamat sa pag-alok" Jhoanna answered and went to her room.
As Jhoanna entered the room she layed in bed.
"My mind is full of chaos." Jhoanna said to herself.
She grabbed a stuffed dog that Aiah gave her last year when it was her birthday.
"I want to move on." Jhoanna said to herself and threw the stuffed animal in the trash bin.
Jhoanna took her guitar from her closet and started playing it.
An hour later, Mikha fell asleep in Aiah's room.
Aiah was still awake because of Jhoanna's guitar.
Aiah knocked on her door and called her. "Jho? Pwede pumasok?" Aiah asked.
"Alright" Jhoanna answered and Aiah opened the door.
Aiah sat next to Jhoanna and asked "what happened to us?"
"Nothing, nothing happened alright?" Jhoanna answered.
"I miss our bond, Jho." Aiah said.
"You miss Mikha more than our bond." Jhoanna said and stopped playing the guitar to look at Aiah.
"So that's the problem. That's why you're avoiding me!" Aiah yelled.
"Lower your tone, magising pa jowa mo." Jhoanna said coldly.
"Why are you avoiding me Jho." Aiah asked.
"I don't want to ruin your relationship, Aiah." Jhoanna responded coldly.
"Alot of people hurt you in your past. I couldn't be the light for your problems. Mikha was there to brighten your day. She always finds a way to make you laugh and smile. But me? I'm the person who was there through your ups and downs. But I still couldn't be the solution to your problems, diba?" Jhoanna explained.
Aiah was speechless, a tear slipping down her cheek.
"Minsan ka nalang maging masaya, and I don't wanna ruin the opportunity to see you smile when your while her. I guess I'm just a side character in your story." Jhoanna said and stood up.
"I wanted to tell you that I love you, Aiah. But I know that you wouldn't say I love you back." Jhoanna said and went inside the bathroom to change her clothes.
When she got out Aiah was sleeping on Jhoanna's bed.
"God knows how much I love you." Jhoanna said and grabbed her helmet.
"Jho. I'm sorry." Aiah said. It was clear that she cried.
"It already happened, Aiah." Jhoanna said. Aiah looked at her with tears in her eyes.
Aiah nodded and stood up to go to her room with Mikha.
Jhoanna left without saying anything and knocked on Maloi's door.
