"How is he still alive?!" Pipp asked.
"He survived. And it doesn't seem like he's happy with Rabbid Peach." Sonic replied.
"Rabbid Kong will get what he has coming!" Beep-0 said and then gasps. "Donkey Kong! Check those fascinating surface formations! By hoping on them, you'll be able to leap forward at even greater distances! There are lots of them on the battlefield. Leap across multiple gaps to increase your movement range!"
"That sounds like a mighty fine idea, sugarcube!" Applejack said.
Donkey Kong was able to leap at the battlefield.
Sonic nodded to Applejack, Pipp, Kowalski and Rabbid Peach, before charging in.
A while later, they arrived at what Rabbid Cranky wanted to show them.
"That's it?" Sonic asked.
"You know, when Kowalski translated that you said you wanted to 'show us something' you could have been a LITTLE MORE SPECIFIC!" Beep-0 said.
Their attention was caught to Rabbid Kong, who was looking at them.
"Sweet mother of Mobius..." Sonic muttered.
"Rabbid Kong! Of all the-!" Beep-0 then sighed. "How did he even GET here? And he looks so STRONG. He must have been working out."
"Now's not the time for questions." Sonic said. He looks at the other fighters. "Let's do this!"

A bit while after their battle, they saw the main Washing Machine part in a hideout in the Reef.
"Whoa! So the main body of the Washing Machine is right in the core of hideout of Rabbid Kong!?" Beep-0 said.
"He must've fiddled around with the Time Washing Machine and ended up on this island." Kowalski said, heading in front of the group.
"...and it's guarded by an army somewhere beyond that giant gate that needs TWO keys to open." Beep-0 said, flatly.
"...drat."
"WONDERFUL! Doubtless, they're scattered far and wide - safeguarded by wicked brutes. Typical. We need to find those keys! Hurry!"
"Now hold yer horses!" Applejack said. "Ah think some of us should split."
"What?! We can't-!"
"She means split up, getting the keys faster." Sonic said. He looked at Applejack and Pipp. "Applejack, Pipp, you take that direction." He pointed at the direction of one of the keys. He then looks at Kowalski. "Kowalski, you're with me." He looks at Beep-0 and the others. "We got this, don't worry."
"I like the sound of that plan." Pipp said, looking at Applejack.
"Same here, sugarcube." The cowpony said.
"That definitely sounds like Skipper's orders, but I suppose this will work." Kowalski said.

After finding the keys and defeating another boss, the heroes were now in the Jungle, only to see another locked gate.
Beep-0 sighed. "... another gate to block our progress. I'm starting to hate these things. The gate is guarded by two totems. They look menacing, but I detect they hold the solution to the riddle of the closed gate."
"Hey guys!" Pipp called as everyone turned to her. "What are these big buttons for?"
"Buttons?" Applejack questioned.
