They will be coming tomorrow," Sam said.

Sam, my cousin, was expecting her future in-laws to come and finalize her marriage.

"Wow, Sam, I'm so happy for you," I exclaimed.

"Thanks. Make sure you're ready on time tomorrow," she replied.

"Yeah, sure," I assured her.

The next day, everything went exceptionally well. Her wedding was set for the 29th of October.

As the days passed, we began the preparations in earnest.

We arranged a bridal shower for her. After it was over, we were lying on the bed, and she showed me pictures of her in-laws.

She introduced each person to me, including HIM - her brother-in-law.

At that moment, I didn't pay much attention to him. But on the wedding day, I couldn't take my eyes off of him.

It was the 29th of October, the day I fell in love - love at first sight.

I got ready and went to the wedding hall, wearing a grey khada dupatta, THE GREY KHADA DUPATTA. I emphasize this because the color played a significant role in identifying me.

Half of the wedding had ended, but I hadn't seen him yet.

"Sejal, could you please come over here?" my mom called.

As I was passing the aisle, my eyes fell on HIM. His eyes were mesmerizing, a stunning blend of grey and green, though I guessed they were hazel. They were the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen—deep, warm, and captivating.

He was exactly how I imagined my partner to be—tall, with beautiful eyes, a charming smile, smooth hair, and long lashes.

He was like a walking piece of heaven.

My heart skipped a beat as I watched him.I felt an immediate connection, something indescribable, like butterflies fluttering in my heart. My pulse quickened, and a warmth spread through me.

His presence had an almost magnetic pull; I couldn't look away.I wanted to smile and keep looking at him, but I couldn't. With hundreds of guests around, I didn't want to make it obvious.

I tore my gaze away, feeling a blush rise to my cheeks.

I went to my mother, trying to focus on what I was supposed to be doing, but my thoughts kept drifting back to him.

His image was imprinted in my mind. The wedding was nearing its end, and I hadn't seen him much since our first meeting.

As the family photoshoot continued with Sam's in-laws on the stage, my family sat in chairs in front of them.

This setup provided me with a perfect opportunity to watch him without fear of being observed. It was the most serene moment of the entire event.

Amidst the blur of everything else, he stood out clearly to me. I felt like the world had faded away, leaving just him and me in that moment.

And so, the wedding day concluded with this lingering feeling.

Now, I eagerly awaited the upcoming functions, hoping to catch glimpses of him again and again.
