Chapter 10

"Is this what falling in love feels like?"

The morning breeze

"Oh good, you're awake"

You open your eyes groggily, Ava holding back onto you a bit tight, you saw Rhys? in your room staring eagerly down on Ava. "No I'm not" Huh what? "But, you're talking?" Oh it's just Ava, and Rhys talking, your lids fluttering close as you tune both people out, not wanting to get in between whatever is going on here, you go back to sleep.

Your eyes fluttered open when a certain noise fills your ears, the sound of something colliding with another object, the hell? Groggily opening your eyes, you see Leif punching Ava's phone, you turn back to Ava and cuddle closer to her...

Wait...

Ava's phone? Immediately grabbing the phone out of Lief's grasp, you cradle it like it's the most fragile gem, it might be one from how much these boys want to break it. "What the hell are you doing?"

"Trying to get the Leif on your magic slab out to show him who's superior!"

"Why are you guys so dumbbbb" you whine out, turning back to Ava to wake her up, her phone, her problem. She muttered something incoherent, before throwing the phone at her, you cuddled back and went to sleep.

Your eyes immediately fluttered open when you felt someone in front of you, almost reeling back at the sight, your eyes slowly focused, calming down once you notice it's just Noi, do these guys even sleep? "What... What are you doing here?" you squint, you're not hallucinating right?

"Do you think humans will think  I'm a threat?" your face flushing when you realize how close he is from you, they also don't know what personal space is, great. "Uh... To their personal space? Yea..."

"What does that mean?" Oh golly, gently pushing back into Ava, you pull the blanket onto yourself tighter, "That means you're uncomfortably close to me right now and if I didn't know you, I'd be very scared." pushing the blankets to cover your flush, you watch him jump in joy, realizing that he can be threatening to someone? Hah! He looks and acts like a precious bean for that to happen.

"Really?" you nod, Ava's embrace on you growing a bit tighter, hearing a faint whine in her chest. "Good! Thanks for the advice Y/N!" hearing his giggles, he jumps off the bed and runs off, you're not even going to question that.

"Man, Can't get enough sleep around here huh?" you yawn right after that, you're just gonna ponder about that in the morning instead, your grip on the blanket loosen, you head back to sleep once again.

The rays of the sun gently tickles your skin, the warmth it gives off made you uncomfortable under the sheet, your feet kicking up and throwing it on Ava's side of the bed, you groggily open your eyes, still hazy from sleep.

Rubbing the sleep out of your eyes, you lay there contemplating whether to get up or just go to sleep. Hearing the door click open, the Daemos in blue entered your- no, Ava's room, "The sun has risen."

"I haven't gotten any sleep" Ava replied, so she's awake huh? "But you said you would take us out?" You rise out of the bed, leaning to Ava's side and comb her hair gently, looking back at Pierce "She's clearly tired, Pierce." patting her one last time, you crawled out of the bed.

"Don't worry, I promised to take you guys out today so I'm incharge of that, Ava should get some sleep, I'm used to barely sleeping anyways." You yawn out, seeing him staring down at her, his eyes filled with concern, oh?

Grabbing him a chair and placing it by the side of Ava's bed, you tell him to take a seat and watch over her for now. "Just let her rest for now, A promise is a promise and I won't break it, Thank you Pierce." patting him as well, you excused yourself out of the room and went straight to the kitchen.
