Meeting her beginnings

A/N: Not much happens in this chapter, it's more of a filler so the story progresses, so feel free to skip it.

Your heavy footsteps clicking as your feet hits the cement, you've been stuck in your fantasy world with the Daemos, almost forgetting that you actually had a job and having work today. Sure, you knew fully well that your sick leaves would not save you from heading to work. But in the end, you had to face the consequences of your actions, praying that you don't get sick sometime in the future and actually needed to use the leave.

Reasoning to yourself, you were worried! What if the Daemos did something to Ava while you were gone! Many things could've happened when you're out, beside it's not that you always needed to head out, you could also work at home, but that's not also the case. Sighing, you just shook your head, they won't do anything like that. Besides, it all worked out in the end.

Looking up in the sky, you see the sun shining down on the street, it's probably afternoon since it's too hot to be noon yet. Atleast, you've managed to close a deal for a new commissioner, that's good. More chances for you to work at home instead, more reason for you to stay and watch the guys with Ava, can't leave her alone with them.

As Ava drags the camera back towards the living room, she sees the Daemos file out of the opening of their home. Noi immediately intrigued by whatever Ava was holding, he was dashing towards her right away, the others following suit.

"Can you guys help me and put this in the living room?" Pierce appearing out of nowhere takes ahold of the camera, doing as requested by Ava. The others watched curiously as to what the Sorceress had brought in.

As Ava inspected camara, Noi piped up, asking where you had gone. Your friend glances up momentarily "I think she's at work right now, I don't know what time she's coming home though." walking off, she went to go grab her tools for this, oh boy.

As the others study the intricate object, Ava comes back with her tools, setting it down on the table and returning back to the camera. "This ia a relic" and at that, every head turned to her. "Is it powerful!?"

"Can it kill someone?"

"It's gonna kill me with how complicated this thing is to fix." Ava groaned out, face palming from the others antics. The others already huddled by the side, curious about this said relic. Rhys having stars in his eyes, asked "You can fix a relic?"

"No, I- Missus Oats brought this over and asked me to fix it for her, she's gonna pay me a lot of fix it. She's probably gonna use it to take pics of you guys, Which I'm sure I could charge her for or something since you live here and stuff." Huffing at the thought, why did she had to get stuck with hot demon boys that her neighbor fawns over.

"Why does she want that?"

"Because in her stupid fantasy, she thinks you guys are my boyfriends and at this point, I'm tired of fightin' her. She's old you know, and close to death and I really like her, so if anyone asks, just tell them you're my boyfriend or whatever." She waves off, looking back at the camera, this is gonna take her awhile, she should probably look up stuff first online before even attempting to fix it.

"Also, it keeps Mrs. Oats from asking me stuff so I can earn money." Asch taking a seat and petting the cat, Leif looked like he was thinking of something. "It's funny, Elder humans here don't seem to be as terrifying as Lady Grandma."
