Auditioning

After a week of living with Justin, audition day came. Justin said it was at the studio, which means I get to see Rob and David again and hopefully meet some more cast members.

"y/n, you ready?" Justin yells from his room as I finish tying my shoes.

"Yup! let's go!" I walk into Justin's room and take my phone from its charger on his desk.

"Who else are we car-pooling with?"

"Everyone on this floor, Emmy, David, Ellen, Ritu and Alex."

"Wait, who lives on this floor?" I ask, realising that Justin never told me who else was staying on this floor.

"Aidan on the far left, Rob next door and Tom on the right." Justin tells me, pointing at the doors.

Aidan's on this floor. Great. He can apologise nine years late and think we're good but I'm one to hold grudges.

"So, the whole cast?"

"Pretty much, yeah." Justin says as we stop in front of the elevators.

I'm texting Mom, telling her that today was my audition day, while we wait for the elevator. A message comes up from Instagram and I click on it, hoping it was one of my friends from home.

@tomhopperhops✔️ started following you.

@emmyraver.✔️ started following you.

"Hey Justin!" I hear someone yell at us. I turn to see Tom Hopper and Rob running towards us. They stop running when they hear another door click, which was Aidan exiting his room.

"He doesn't let us run in the halls. Stickler for rules he is." Tom whispers to me.

He sure didn't care about rules or getting in trouble when he was ten.

"I started following you on Instagram. Rob said you're really fun." I smile at Rob.

That was nice of him.

"I heard you two oafs running again." I roll my eyes at Aidan and he smiles at me.

"Can I get that selfie now?"

"Still no." I go back to conversation with Rob, which is quite interesting. He keeps asking me questions about where I get my clothes. I look up to ask Justin what's taking so long when I notice that he, Aidan and Tom aren't in the hall with us anymore.

"That son of a bitch never told us the elevator came." Rob complains as he pushes the button about seventy times.

"Just because you push it more doesn't make it faster." Rob smirks at me from inside the elevator.

"You sure about that?" I playfully roll my eyes at him and enter the elevator. We go straight to the lobby, assuming the others picked up the rest of the cast on their way down. We run out into the lobby just as Justin and the other cast members exit the elevator across from us.

"We went back up for you idiots." Ellen laughs.

"Y/n, right? I'm Ellen. Nice to meet you. Justin's told us a lot about you." I take Ellen's extended hand and shake it.

"Yeah, I'm y/n. It's nice to finally meet you all."

"Hurry up, Ellen!" David yells before exiting the hotel through revolving doors. Ellen and I laugh and dash to the doors, not wanting to be left behind. Ellen hops in the driver's seat  of the minivan and David walks over to me.

"Children ride in the back. Except you might have to ride in the middle because of Alex." He opens the sliding door and I see Emmy stuck in between Tom and Robert, Ritu being squished by Justin and now David.
