AURORA groaned as she walked in the middle of rue and benjamin, on their way to school.
aurora didn't want to go school, but she knew she needed too. her grades were dropping significantly in most of her subjects, especially maths.
aurora was very good at maths, it was the only lesson she was confident in. she got diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of six, so it made sense as to why she always struggled with reading and writing. in maths she struggled with written problem questions but she always stayed on top.
"and apparently they fucked." rue spoke blankly.
"why am i not shocked? it's like a popular girl falls for nerdy boy love story." benjamin joked as he spoke about the drama in their school.
aurora continued to walk between them, she kept accidentally zoning out.
"it's always the most unexpected people who get together, or hook up." he commented as he laughed with rue. he quickly glanced down at aurora noticing her kicking the rocks on the side walk with her head hanging low.
he knew what happened with ashtray and she decided she didn't wanna talk about it. benjamin knew aurora hated talking about her feelings.
"wait shit where the fuck is my schedule?" the spoke as she grabbed her bag off of her shoulder. but once she held the bag up she groaned "this is fucking gias bag."
aurora shakes her head and chuckled at her stupidness.
"i don't care it's useless anyway." she shrugged.
rue looked at the other two to notice their bags abit more bigger than usual.
"you guys got pe today?" she asked them.
aurora groaned "yeah. i hate pe so much."
"oh, by the way miss wyatt wants you to join the girls football team. she told me to tell you but i forgot." benjamin explained to aurora.
she shook her head "hell no. have you seen the height on those girls? i ent being a pick me and stuff but i'll get tackled like shit!"
rue laughed "that's very true."
"well i would love to watch you get tackled, so your going." benjamin shrugged as he opened up his energy drink. to which aurora flipped him off.
"atleast it's not american rugby type football thing, you kick the ball with your foot." rue explained.
"i think i know what football is."
"so that is the equation for photosynthesis." her teacher explained as he continued to reach the class.
aurora was sat next to her science partner, archie, who was known for being a very quiet kid. aurora accepted him, he was very kind and helpful.
aurora continued to write an equation but she watched out of the corner of her eye as a paper ball flew across the room.
