AURORA rolled her eyes as she continued too listen to ashtray mumble and complain.
"i just don't understand why i have to fucking do this." he groaned as he crossed his arms over his chest and slouched down in the stool chair.
aurora once again, rolled her eyes. she paused cutting up fruit and let out a big sigh "because it's this or going food shopping, you pick ash."
he listened too her before letting out a rather big and dramatic sigh "this."
she nodded "exactly. now quit whining."
" 'm not whining." he mumbled, causing him to get a look off of aurora.
he huffed "fine."
aurora promised her neighbour eileen that she would babysit athena while she went out to bingo tonight. she used look after athena a lot when she was younger but once her father passed away, she distanced herself.
and with that, the doorbell rang.
ashtray groaned "nooooo."
"shut up." she snapped, making her way around the kitchen island and going to the front door.
she opened it too see athena stood with her teddy in her hand and her backpack on her back.
"hey aj!" she smiled up at the older girl.
"hey effy." she used the nickname she gave the girl when she was 12.
eileen gave aurora an side hug, causing her body too freeze up from the sudden contact. inside she hated it but she would never disrespect eileen. so she allowed it too happen.
ashtray had moved onto the sofa and watched as aurora got pulled into a hug. he chuckled to himself knowing she hated being touched. but she only seemed too accept it when it came from him. only him.
he turned back too the tv once he got bored of listening to their conversation.
"okay i'll be back around 7, remember use your manners darling!" she reminded her daughter.
eileen turned to aurora "elle tiene la actitud correcta, así que asegurate de darle un revés si intenta algo de esa mierda de mal humour."

aurora stifled a laugh "servirà, te vére luego."

"bye mummy!" ethena cheesed and gave her mum a hug. eileen pressed a kiss against the crown of her head before leaving.
"so.." aurora rocked on her heels "are you hungry?"
