*i forgot to add this part in previous chapter. Sorry for that*

Last night, Hoseok found himself awake in the middle of the night. His mind was racing with thoughts about everything that had happened between him and Yoongi. Each memory felt like a stab to his heart, and he struggled to breathe as anxiety took over. He couldn’t think straight; all he wanted was to escape the pain that stemmed from one foolish mistake. After wiping away his tears, he got up, wrote a note, and quietly left the house.

___

Jin was on his way to Yoongi's house, tired of all the sadness surrounding them. He wanted to see them reconcile and decided it was time to make Yoongi listen to Hoseok's side of the story.

"What are you doing here, Hyung?" Yoongi asked, noticing Jin's disappointed look.

"I have every right to come over and talk to you," Jin replied, pushing past Yoongi.

"What talk?" Yoongi asked as he sat down next to Jin.

"Let’s skip the nonsense and get to the point. I need you to hear Hoseok out," Jin said, placing a hand on Yoongi's shoulder.

"You can leave if that's what you want to discuss," Yoongi said, shrugging off Jin's hand.

"I didn’t ask; I’m telling you," Jin said firmly.

"Look, I see you as my younger brother, and I hope you feel the same. As your brother, I want you to talk to Hoseok about this. Misunderstandings happen in relationships, but if you don’t communicate, you risk losing each other," Jin said with genuine care.

"Hyung, but I-I’m hurt. I can’t—" Yoongi started, but his phone rang, interrupting him.

He quickly wiped his eyes, which were slightly damp, and glanced at the caller ID.

Tofu, it read.

He looked at Jin before answering the call.

H-hyung hobi h-hyung didn't came home from last night.

WHAT?

please f-find him I'm s-so worried.

Did you tried to call him?

His phone's switched off.

Don't worry hosu I'll find him okay.

He ended the phone call and explained everything to Jin. They both ran towards the car and drove to hoseok's place.

___

Hosu called out, "Hyung," as he wrapped his arms around Yoongi.

"Don't worry, Hosu. I'm right here," Yoongi reassured him, trying to comfort the boy.

"He left this," Hosu said, handing over a note that read:

"Hey, I know you'll find this note after I'm gone. Gone for good. But honestly, it wasn't all my fault. The situation got really messy. I wish I could say goodbye properly, but I guess this is my punishment. Just know that I loved you, and I always will.

Maybe I'll see you in the next life.

Hoseok."

"Next life, my foot," Yoongi muttered, tossing the note aside.
